Checking in took too long but otherwise great stay

Upon checking in, some places like to tell you all about the place and the city, and others just like to get you checked in quickly so that you can begin enjoying your room. I prefer the second, quicker approach. The receptionist meant well, but by giving a lengthy description of the city to each person she checked in, she caused the check-in line to move slowly. Once we were checked in though, I loved everything about the place. Very comfortable! Also a good location.

We had a great stay at Spot Family Apartments in Porto. The location is excellent — close to shops, restaurants, and within walking distance of many main attractions. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it very comfortable for our family. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The price was very affordable, especially considering the space and convenience, and we would definitely stay here again.

Although I rated the hotel an overall 4, if I were to come back to Porto I would choose another property. The room is clean and spacious, but I wasn’t cozy it lacked all the little comforts my Lisbon hotel had.

We stayed for 5 nights and the house keeping staff did good job in keeping the unit clean and tidy. We are in a group of 4 , more clothe hangers are needed. A couple of hooks inside the bathroom will be good for hanging the towel and clothes when one take a shower.

The apartment was amazing. Even though it’s city center, it was noise proof. The bed was great. Everything was very clean. And guys at the reception were very helpful. Definitely would book for longer but there was no rooms available for longer stay

A wonderful and warm welcome and greeting by Leonor. Her English is excellent and made us feel very welcome. Later in the evening, there are a few - possibly homeless people around the street. They do not seem bad though and mind their own business. The Mercator do Balhão is just down the road. Amazing experience and great restaurants on then top level. The lower level has souvenirs and fresh seafood and wine-tasting stations.
