Access to the beach was at the back of the park. Short 5 min drive into Portland. Owners were lovely, and their dog Jack. Very quiet given the amount of people there.

We stayed at Holiday Lifestyle Henty Bay for 3 nights in one of their pet-friendly cabins, and unfortunately, our experience was not ideal. Upon checking in, we found that the cabin wasn’t very clean. I spoke to the manager about the issue, and he was quick to offer us a new cabin, which was appreciated. However, the new cabin wasn’t much better— it was small, outdated, and not particularly comfortable. The lack of sufficient cutlery made it a bit inconvenient for meal prep. One of the biggest issues was the water in the park, which is bore water. The taste and smell were unpleasant, making it hard to use for anything other than basic needs, we were advised to not drink it, rain water is available in the tanks. The amenities at the park also left much to be desired; they weren't clean, and the shower gutters overflowed, which was off-putting. On the positive side, the location of the park is fantastic, with easy access to a beautiful beach, which we really enjoyed. However, the overall management of the park could benefit from a bit more attention and care to improve the cleanliness and facilities. While I would recommend it for the beach access, I personally wouldn't stay there again due to the lack of comfort and cleanliness.

It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere - yet it's only a few minutes drive from Portland. The grounds are tidy and spacious and the cabin we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. There were ants but nothing we couldn't deal with. My only suggestion would be to put in some seating around the kid's jumping pillow for parents.

One of the most unhelpful experiences. There were possibilities to extend options by the reception staff to make our stay more comfortable but absolutely nothing was done. Wifi never worked and our room was nowhere near to be called a luxury accommodation. Nothing was done to make our stay better even when I myself suggested so many doable options, all that I met was ‘sorry it’s a long weekend, can’t do it’. Staff needs to be trained to say ‘no’ in a more empathising way and show some keenness to help guests make the most out of their stay. Travelling is not cheap these days and these little human interactions matter a lot.
