The bed had bed bugs and my child got bed bug bites all over the face and couldn’t sleep. Even the sheets didn’t seem fresh. The carpet on the floor was sticky and evidently dirty. Would never choose this motel in the future.

Basic motel with old worn finishes and extremely high summer rates due to proximity to Olympic Peninsula and ferry to Victoria. Small rooms but functional and decently comfortable bed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property was in a good location with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. I really enjoyed Port Angeles. The one thing that was really missing in the room was a towel rack: there wasn't one in the vanity area nor in the bathroom itself so I didn't know what to do with my towels. There was also some mold on the back of the shower curtain liner.

Adequate average property. The room light booked for friends traveling with us at three burned out lightbulbs! We advised property we would have a late arrival due to ferry. When we got there, no one in office and we didn’t know what to do. Finally we called and were told keys were left for us in an envelope. It would have been nice to have that information in advance.

We were at the Royal Victorian Motel for the All Star Baseball tournament. We liked the close location to the ball fields. The rooms were clean and check in was very good.

The lady at check-in was great. We had just come from dinner to check in and leave to go see sunset from atop Hurricane Ridge. We didn't get back until around 10 pm. I wanted to shower before bed but noticed that we had NO towels. Not one. The office closes at 9, so I called the hotel phone number. The man answered the phone very casually, no Royal Victorian, may I help you out anything. I told him that we had no towels. He told me that the office was closed. Glad we could agree on that. I told him that we'd like some 'tonight'. He first told me he could get them to me by midnight. I stood that was not acceptable. Then he said maybe by 11 pm. When I started to all why not sooner, he hung up on me. Look, it's not my fault that his housekeeping didn't do their job properly. Needless to say, we went to bed without showers. I hoped maybe they'd be outside our door this morning, but no. So since the office doesn't open until 9, I called the same number. When he answered, he said, are you calling about the towels? Um, yes! Yes, I am. He then said he'd bring them by momentarily AND HE DID! No apology. I then got on the phone with Hotels.com to get some kind of refund for the inconvenience. They put me on hold to confirm my story with the hotel, then came back to say that the hotel would give us 15% refund, which isn't great but it's something. The rooms are worn. The hairdryer was melted (😳). The couch cushion had a large gash. Would NOT recommend.

The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. However, the room was tiny and overpriced. The TV wasn't working and when we found out, the person in the office had left. There are no towel racks or places to set down your belongings. For the price we paid , we had expected a lot nicer place.
