The cabin was amazing. Everything was clean and the view was just spectacular. We sat on the deck with the fire pit on and it was just breathtaking. The hosts were very responsive and super nice. The code didn’t work initially and within 10 minutes they opened the door for us and updated the pin to get in. I would love to stay here again.

The cabin is very clean and comfortable and has a great deck for drinking coffee and chatting. Phil communicated regularly with me leading up to our stay regarding road conditions, etc., and his directions were perfect. He continued to communicate through our stay. Great place, great hosts.

Great long weekend stay

The cabin was just what we were looking for a long weekend away. Secluded enough, but easy striking distance to Placerville/hikes/amenities. We even managed to get a few inches of snow - a great stay!

This place is perfect. Loved the place from the first step inside. Stayed here with my son, plenty of space, kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Outside patio was cozy with a bbq, sitting area, fire pit. Even spotted 2 deer under the house wondering around. Will definitely plan to stay here again

The beautiful serenity of Rustic Cabin can't be emphasized enough. It looks rustic yet has good wi-fi and everything needed is supplied; quiet yet stores are not far; clean yet felt homey and comfortable. The view from the patio is gorgeous. Positive reviews are true and to be believed. Phil was a responsive host during the whole process. I definitely hope to return. One hint: take slippers since shoes are off inside.

This was honestly the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. It was so clean, nice area, super quiet, had stuff for the lake and snow. I mean if you’re looking for a cute getaway or something that feels camping, I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin. The owners are super nice as well and respond real quickly. I would so stay here again! :)

Wonderful relaxing stay

We live in the South Bay and went up to Pollock Pines for a relaxing long weekend. We loved this cabin! Very clean and well appointed. It was situated in a wonderful neighborhood with easy access to the main road and Highway 50, so we were able to do day trips to Auburn, Coloma and Placerville. Phil was a very responsive host and shared some good hiking tips with us. We want to try and go back for another stay in this little oasis in the pines.

The cabin is cozy and welcoming. It was perfect for my mom, sister and I for our ladies' trip to shop and dine in Placerville and Apple Hill! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! The owners were extremely responsive--very impressive!Perhaps I missed it in the owner's directions, but the cabin is actually on a private road above the named address for the cabin. We figured it out after a couple of passes. Glad it was still sunny when we got there!
