This five-bedroom home can accommodate up to 10 guests. Less than 10 miles from Tahoe City, this secluded two-story home offers plenty of natural wonders. Lake Tahoe is less than a half-mile walk from the steps so you'll be in the water in no time. Still, if you ever get tired of flora and fauna, Tahoe City's nightlife and restaurants await. This massive cabin fits in with the natural wonder around it. A canopy of trees envelope this stately home. Wooden beams highlight the interior and a massive wooden deck, with views of the lake and beyond, highlight the exterior. Tastefully decorated in neutral hues, the living space features wooden walls, carpeted floors, a large sectional sofa and a wonderful wood-burning fireplace. The open floor plan continues into the dining room and kitchen. The beautiful dining table seats eight with views of the outdoors. Pull up a stool at the breakfast bar in the cozy kitchen as you watch the amateur chef in the family whip up a feast at the electric range. A dishwasher makes cleaning up a breeze. The master suite is a new addition on the upper level. Wood floors, a king bed and a small sectional sofa dominate the space. Gaze at the beauty outside from the many large windows in the room. An adjoining bath complete the space. Four additional bedrooms can be found on the lower level. A second bedroom boasts a queen bed. Another bedroom features a queen bed. Two additional bedrooms boast two twin beds apiece. An expansive den with a TV is sure to delight the the family. Two additional full baths and a smaller half bath ensure nobody will be fighting for the shower in the morning. WiFi is located throughout this Homewood getaway. A washer and dryer are available and guests can dine al fresco on the gorgeous wooden deck with gas grill as they gaze at the outdoor splendor. Guests also receive a Chambers Landing pass that allows access to the beach, private pool, and tennis courts. A shuttle bus is available in the summer to Chambers Landing activities. Guests can call Homewood Ski Resort for a private shuttle in the winter. Fido is also welcome so bring him with you - though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply. Tahoe City is less than 10 miles away and offers a wealth of activities for the whole family. In summer, head to the lake for water sports, movies on the beach or outdoor concerts. Back country hiking and mountain biking are also popular summer activities. If dining is more your speed, check out the myriad coffee shops and restaurants in town. History buffs will revel in the historic sites around town, from the haunted museums to the Lake Tahoe Dam.
