Picnic Bay Appartments.
Nice place, getting a bit of age on it. Not much sun comes into the deck area because of the fig trees. Close to the Picnic bay pub and a cafe, right on the beach, quiet side of the island, which was great for us.

Disappointing Circumstances
The water was turned off for most of our second day staying there. The had a water leak and had to use jack hammers to dig and find the problem. I understand these things need to be fixed, and we were notified the night before by the owner; but I believe they should have scheduled it to be done when there were no guests in the property. We have 2 small children that require day naps- impossible with jack hammering outside the window. We were also staying there to attend a wedding on the Saturday, which of course you want to shower before you get dressed up for an event. They graciously turned the water back on for 10mins for us to flush the toilet and quickly shower- but it was an inconvenience that we shouldn’t have had considering we paid to stay there.
The floors were also very dusty on arrival.
The location is fantastic though and it was lovely to relax on the deck with a stunning view.
