This resort is beautiful. You have many options for pools, with different vibes. The room sizes were great and the little touches were also great. The views from the pools are phenomenal and you get to see the sunset. I would highly recommend. It is close to freedom beach which is a great beach and it is a short cab journey into the town.

Wonderful stay near Phuket for a couple vacation

We were coming from Bangkok and trying to decide where to stay and this was an oasis away from the busy Patong area but also within a few minutes car ride or walk. It had the coldest air conditioning we have ever had and it was a welcome addition in the 90-100 degree heat. The pools and pool bars were awesome as were the restaurants.

Our stay at Avista Hideaway was absolutely gorgeous! The resort had stunning ocean views and breathtaking sunsets, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The check-in process was smooth and enjoyable—they welcomed us with refreshing lemonade tea and cool towels, which was a great touch after being out in the heat. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. A special surprise that made our stay even more memorable was the beautiful honeymoon room decoration—flowers, towel elephants, and thoughtful details that truly made us feel special. The location was also perfect—just 10 minutes from the night market, which made it super easy to go out in the evenings and return without hassle. We also appreciated the adult-only pool, which provided a peaceful and relaxing space to unwind. Overall, Avista Hideaway exceeded our expectations, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket!

Absolutely beautiful property although it is on a very steep incline so it would be difficult or impossible to enjoy for anyone with mobility issues. There are buggy’s that can bring you around the property but there are still many stairs to climb once at your destination. Buggy’s we’re noisy at night. All 3 restaurants were completely sold out for the 3 days we were there so buffet was the only option as you are up in the mountains. Views are amazing.

Overall nice hotel but the pool wasn’t very clean (the chairs area+the water with leaves). Our room was with a connecting door so we heard everything from the next room and also very loud noises from the outside. Breakfast was good but not great

Very nice hotel, which was spotlessly clean, with good facilities. Amazing restaurants, pools and games room and delicious buffet breakfast. All staff were very friendly and polite but specially: Risma at Vista restaurant and Matt at the lobby went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I’m posting a longer review on another well know platform, but this resort really needs a makeover more than I do. We got one of the more expensive plunge pool villas and the retrofitted walking by the pool made it feel like a rather luxurious prison cell, held together primarily with silicone sealant. I get that hotels by the tropical sea are difficult to maintain, but I kind of hoped for the price we paid it would have looked a bit prettier than this.

Room facilities are old, not good at location

The location is not good, and the frequency of shuttle bus to Patong beach is not good enough. Although nearby have 7-11 and restaurant, but it’s not convenient. The room is okay and air-condition is cool enough, but the bath is draining not fast as usual, sink also clogged. Pools are good and clean, breakfast is so so, not good as expected.
