We arrived after hours of travel with small, tired children, only to be told that our confirmed reservation had been canceled and that the hotel was overbooked. This is beyond unacceptable. We had a confirmed booking, and at no point did anyone from the hotel bother to contact us to let us know there was a problem. Instead, we were left stranded late at night, with exhausted children, scrambling to find somewhere—anywhere—to stay. The complete lack of communication and accountability was disgraceful. The staff’s response at the front desk was unhelpful, dismissive, and entirely devoid of empathy for the situation the hotel created. The fact that a paying customer, with a valid reservation, can arrive to find no room available is absolutely inexcusable. Because of their negligence, we were forced to spend additional money on last-minute accommodations and endure an incredibly stressful situation that could have been completely avoided if the hotel had simply managed bookings properly or communicated in advance.
