Oct Sister getaway

Our room was clean. A piece of black material was left on the elevator which housekeeping used as well, for at least 8 hours. For some reason, water from the shower despite the curtain and its liner, spilled over on the bathroom floor. I had a fall coming out of the shower 1) high tub and 2) wet floor. Breakfast signs indicated hard boiled eggs and turkey sausage. Neither one were available. Decaf carafe needed to be replenished at 9:30 and we were told “we don’t make decaf because it sits there and the taste goes bad” Lastly, mattresses were very soft; no type of pillow mattress under quilt. Front desk staff were personable and tried to meet our expectations.

We didn’t bring a pet, but it’s nice to know that we could have. The staff was attentive and personable. There was a spill of what looked like blood (later identified as cake icing) at 8:30pm that was still there at 8:00 the next morning. While looking for forgotten items before leaving, I found a sock under the bed belonging to a previous guest. Your location was very convenient to the horse show in Devon and restaurants in Berwyn.

Everything was about the staff. They were so welcoming, and were helpful in helping us find places to eat. We needed a small repair and it happened in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely stay there again.
