Uncomfortably Kitchy

This was the most uncomfortable room for a new hotel I have ever been. The rooms seemed very small because of the placement of the bath facilities, shower and toilet. The sink was in the room directly across from the large glass door to the toilet. It was very difficult for 2 people to move around. The floors in the bathroom pod and the room were al2ays wet and slippery. The placement of the bed requiring one person to climb over the other was it what yo expect in a hotel. The blanket was the same size as the mattress so basically was too skimpy. Design won people did not !

This property was very disappointing, a very tiny room with dated items, scratched floors and the room was not thoroughly cleaned at check in. You could easily bang your head at the shower door when getting up from the toilet!! There was a also bad smell in the elevator lobby on the main floor. The corridors were dusty and not properly cleaned. Overall, we were not satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

Beautiful sunset views of the Eiffel tower, 2 metro stations nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They also spoke very good English. Dislike: Had to change rooms twice. First room AC not working. Second room toilet was coming off the wall. The staff were very understanding and made every effort to make me comfortable. Third room was a charm.

Citizen M was a different hotel experience for me. I booked it because it was right by Gare de Lyon train station. The hotel has a self-check in but their are lovely people there to help. The room lights and features operate by tablet. The space is compact but comfortable. The bed is against the window so not ideal for a couple if one or both get up during the night. Not sure this would be a great place for more than 2 or 3 nights, a family, or if you have a lot of luggage. But I loved its rather youthful, "new-age" vibe.

Very nice location but during my stay I was really surprised at how the staff is really bad, they gave a key to my room for another guest, I was sitting on my bed when I see a woman coming in my room, this is ridiculous and also a major safety issue! Same night I had some guy from the staff at my door at midnight just saying „service“ and when I told him I don’t need anything he kept knocking and insisted I called for a pillow, it woke me up and made me feel very uncomfortable. The rooftop bar is also very nice but instead of coming to serve guests bartender prefer to discuss behind the bar, even if it is „at the bar service“ just write a note on the table at least so people know

The hotel is located very conveniently next to the station. It’s a short train ride of around 30 minutes door to door from Gare de Nord. The only downside was certain elevators were not operating correctly, especially the lift to get to the reception
