Great for vacation, not for work
I rented this place for 5 weeks with the understanding that the internet was up to the standards found in most places in Panama (250mbps+ down, 15mbps+ up). However, that was not the case. At best the down speeds were 35mbps with up at 8mbps. This made it virtually impossible to have consistent video conferences, which are a major part of my work day.
At first the people at Wynwood House insisted that the speeds were enough to stream 4k tv and have perfect video calls. After days of back and forth with the management team, all through WhatsApp because they refuse to communicate through the VRBO app, they finally sent someone out to upgrade the modem/router. That did not solve the problem.
I asked for a refund from VRBO but they said that the money had already been paid the the host so I was out of luck. So I asked the host for a refund. They offered to move me to another apartment in an unsafe part of town. I Googled the building name and the first review was "Not a safe area."
Now in the 3rd week of my stay, they finally offered to move me to an apartment that was supposed to have better internet. Albeit a much smaller apartment with no view. Wow, what a mistake. This place was next door to a night club with music blasting until 3am! On top of that, there were literally 3 power outlets in the entire unit. 1 in the bathroom and one on each side of the bed.
At this point, I counted my losses and rented from someone else.
I will never rent from Wynwood House again.
