This newly renovated, family friendly, cabin is located on Finger Lake with a view of the Talkeetna mountain range. You can fish, canoe, and snow shoe from the backyard. Rest and relax while you enjoy mountain and sunset views or warm by the fire. You are in a quiet area, but close to shopping and restaurants. Right on the Palmer Wasilla line, a great central location or home base for explaining all that Alaska has to offer in every direction. The cabin offers a great stay if you are a couple trying to get away, you are working remotely, or are a family taking vacation.

The cabin is fantastic as are the hosts. Location gives you the feeling of being in the woods on a lake yet you are close to both Palmer and Wasilla. We grilled burgers with family that live in Palmaer so for us the location was perfect. There were times when the loons were calling in the evening, perfect "Up North" addition. I could spend the whole summer in the Cabin By the Lake.

It was a good stay! But the listing the way the room is layed out seems like it’s two bedrooms, when in reality it’s only one bedroom and a pullout couch. A bit misleading, but we still had a good time.

This place was an amazing oasis of peace and tranquility. I appreciated all of the communication from the owners and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick or long get away. Conveniently located just a few turns from the Parks highway, it was easy to call this place our home base. Loads of bird viewing right from the lakeshore behind the house. Midnight sunset colors in the sky from the living room window will be a memory I take home with me for sure! Owner super responsive to communications. Neighborhood super quiet. Highly recommend this place!

My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of renting this cozy cabin for our 15th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with everything about it. We stayed here due the location to the Grizzly Fitness Center for a basketball tournament. It was super close and perfect. Communication was excellent and the place was cozy and clean and just what we needed. Hope it's available for all the tournaments next year!

The location of the cabin was very easy to navigate and was in a quiet area. Haley, the host was the kindest person. Greatest communication and willingness to help when needed. The cabin itself is just outright adorable. Extremely clean and provided the basics for coffee and breakfast if needed. The bed was super comfortable and the temperature of cabin was comfortable. It felt very homey, safe and quiet. I most certainly will be looking to book with Haley again in the future and look forward to staying there again. It was absolutely worth it.

The property owner was wonderful to work with. She made sure we knew about different places we could go visit as well as some great restaurants. She checked to make sure we didn’t have any problems finding the location - we didn’t. The cabin itself was very nice and very clean. The view was amazing and the location was great.
