The heating in the public places very warm for us despite wintery conditions outside. Our rooms heating wasn't great as we found the fan irritating, so kept it off, but we're hardy folk so no big deal. Found John to be very helpful at reception. Informed us about Just Eat and various menus to choose from. Very relaxed atmosphere indoors, not noisy at all. Having a dog with us hubby chose to eat breakfast in the room and Marhi the breakfast lady was particularly helpful in pointing this out for me. She is a lovely member of staff and deserves 5 stars🌟. I also found on the second day that hubby and dog could have used the bar area for breakfast if they wished. Everyone was very kind and fussed about the dog. A big thank you for that.

First choice at the airport
We had another great stay at the Holiday Inn Express GLA. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the breakfast is well-stocked and tasty. The breakfast room staff work extremely hard, keeping everything well stocked and the tables clean. The reception staff are also very friendly. It's a five minute walk to the terminal, making it very convenient indeed.

We ended up here due to a flight cancellation. Our room was great. But service at the bar when all we wanted was a few snacks was super slow. One person serving for a lot of people. However reception staff and everything were lovely!
