Everything was amazing. I have never seen a breakfast buffet like they had. The staff was awesome. The amenities were fantastic and affordable (the ones that weren't free). They provided so many things at no extra charge, I was truly blown away. I cannot wait for our next visit. I recommend spending a little more and getting an ocean view room, it was like being in paradise waking up to that view every morning.

Really disappointed with our room. Yes nice view however there was a moldy smell coming from the aircon. They switched us to another room, but the process took forever and it’s like the staff doesn’t know who’s on first. We had to wait outside in the hallway for 30 mins for someone to help us with our luggage. I think this property has gone downhill. The food at the breakfast buffet was not good either. I’m sorry but we will not be staying here anymore. They need to check all rooms prior to letting guests stay.

Huge resort, popular with Korean guests. Comfortable, although a bit dated suite with a nice ocean view (unfortunately, it was rainy). Breakfast buffet with many good options, although very crowded. Much more quiet in the club lounge on the eighth floor.

Shanghai-La always live up to their reputation…5-star hotel that treats their guest with a 7-star service. Best experience ever and in Cebu, need to make sure you are in The Ocean Wing, premium - upper floors side…love the views. Staff are well trained, courteous and have a lot of patience. Thanks for keeping the grounds manicured and branded like all other Shanghai-La. I am one of those customers that appreciate a well maintained amenities, it means the GM is the right person for the job!!

The staff/service were excellent. The room was a little less desirable than I expected. I was in the Ocean Wing which appears to be the older part of the hotel. The rooms were also a bit noisy off from the elevator and in a high traffic area. The main breakfast area was fantastic we went early to beat the rush. The snorkeling along the shore was the highlight of our trip.

First night still charged with no show despite flight delay no response on the trip notifications. Very old property (33 years!) - very scary facade fallout at the breakfast entrance. Lucky no one was underneath it. My daughter cut her heel in the pool by uneven tile. Nurses seem amateur with no experience. Room keys never working! The list goes on :-(
