My only complaint was the prices of the restaurants so we ordered Grab. Everything else was amazing. We even got to enjoy the spa and it was so enjoyable we wanted to rebook.

Incredibly attentive, kind staff with a very strict no tip policy. Our room was large, with a lovely balcony overlooking the lagoon. The food was good, but the best food is in the Rio restaurant overlooking the ocean. Our second night there, they had a themed meal and show by the staff which was really fun. We had a good chance to taste real Philippine cuisine, although the best chance is getting off the resort. The man-made lagoon is fun, as is the main pool, but the best part is the Spa which we indulged in four times during our eight day stay. Would go again!

Overall its a large resort and there is a lot to do. Staff was very friedly and helpful in many ways. Dislikes: Food was ok but as good as I was expecting. Maybe typical for this kind of resort in Philippines. Breakfast often had some line (didnt't take long and was over new year's, but wish it wasnt that way). 1/2 day excursion by boat was a bit mis-leading because you dont actually go on shore, you just jump off the boat and swim in the water. It was still fun, but I had a different expectation.Takes time to get transport and drive to Mactan restaurants if you want to get out.

Everything was amazing. From the facilities to the activities to the staff. Food choices were great and the themed buffet breakfast was tops! And they have a strict no tipping policy, which made things easier. All staff are very friendly! Definitely an awesome experience for us.

The building and pool are great. If you have any dietary requires the food is terrible. The hotel intentionally makes it difficult to get taxis into town as they have their own hire car business. So you have a choice of paying exorbitant hire car prices or eating terrible food. If you look at all the other bad reviews they same the same thing. They need to get an international chef

Overall a quiet, secluded property with plenty of activities for the family. The food was generally good but it took over an hour to get our first meal, and every meal after that took more than 15 minutes. Free breakfast was nice. The service was not as friendly as in El Nido, but it was still polite and fine.

Staff at Plantation Resort were excellent. We were very well looked after during our recent 3 night stay. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a beach front room. After check in, we headed out for lunch to one of the many restaurants. When we returned to the room, we had a basket of drinks to fill our fridge and baked goods from the onsite bakery. Room was clean and facilities were excellent. My only criticism is the time for the arrival of food and the small portion sizes for the price. At all the restaurants, it seemed to take a long time (40-60min each time) from ordering. By that point, we were starving and were served very small portions of each dish. We started ordering a side of rice or something extra once we realised this. The resort is very self contained with not much close by for tourists so you will likely no need to leave until check out.

Great hotel with great facilities and excellent food options and restaurants. We also did the massages which were great. Loved the pools and the different activities around the resort. The only thing that kept me from giving this a 5 star review is the beds. They were quite uncomfortable and not very big for a family. Considering the price and the resort being 5 star resort they should be providing premium bedding

Upgraded room was highly appreciated. Direct access to the lagoon. Complimentary amenities were surprisingly plenty! They’re all delicious. Celebrated my son’s 6th birthday and they never failed to make him feel special. The sliced birthday cake tasted so good!!
