It had many amenities. The staff were friendly; breakfast was pretty decent. It is a pet-friendly place, so when we walked into the room, it had an interesting smell. (Air freshener helped.) It was close to everything, and it was very affordable. The gym only had two machines, and the women's steam sauna was closed when we visited. The hot tub was working on and off. Arcade had fun games, but some of the games weren't working. Overall, we had a great time.

It was a pretty decent stay, definitely dated and rooms weren't super clean but also not terrible. Beds were awful and the noise travels all through the hall and staircase.

Pool area was cold, building appears run down. Room itself was fine. Overall acceptable to a simple man such as myself considering it's low rates. I will pay more for more next time I am on town.

Great place for kid and adult fun!!

I go here once or twice a year, the kids love it. Hotel has walk outs for smoking, pool, hot tub, arcade, restaurant and Bar. Michelle is wonderful at the Arcade. Staff at hitel are always pleasant too!

We used to stay here quite frequently. We have progressively watched the property go downhill and I can honestly say that will be our last visit. The pool area was not tidy or clean. Hot tub green tinge and slimy feeling inside. Floors in the pool deck not clean with large puddles everywhere. No pool towels or extra room towels available at the front desk. No shampoo in the room but you get 3 bottles of conditioner. Bathroom floor with dirt on it. Hallways smell and just a dirty grungy feeling throughout. Used to be such a nice hotel. Now going to shambles.

This is the place to stay

We had booked this room because of a terrible experience we had with the Stone Gate in orillia. The front desk people were so friendly Carrie and Josh. from the moment you walked in the doors you felt welcome. We booked in on the 7th Feb 2025, which was a huge snow storm. The highway was closed down because of a 50 car pile up. Around dinner the parking lot started filling up with people who had been stranded on the highway all day. Because of the weather there were some staff that could not make it in, so they were short handed. there was one server-bartender and one cook. Our server slash bartender ( Michelle) was amazing. She kept everyone up beat and had a smile on her face the whole time. There was a bit of a wait for food, but it did come out in a timely manner considering the droves of people coming through the doors. The lobby was packed and Josh and Carrie handled it very professionally. Everyone was nice including the guests. The staff were so kind it kept everyone calm and relaxed. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE STAFF at the Quality Inn On Woodside Dr. Orillia
