The 1st hour was fine, and then thinga went downhill. The pool was ice cold and totally unusable. We complained twice to the front desk, however nothing was done. The hotel guest next our room was noisy, and there were some sketchy customers. The outside areas has areas in disrepair. The final straw was that after checking out they called us to state that we had broken a cupboard door in the room's kitchenette. We had advised the front desk that the cupboard was broken when we advised them of the cold pool water. We told them we would not accept any charges for the broken cupboard door. We will NEVER stay at this facility again. Do yourself a favour and stay away!!!

While the room itself was okay, some of the amenities weren't up to par. Wi-Fi was extremely spotty for one. The gym in the basement had no heating on whatsoever and the pool: air temperature and water were quite cold. Didn't bother to try swimming or working out which was disappointing. The heating in the room wasn't working properly either. We tried setting the thermostat to 72 but the whole time we were there, it never got above 68. Room was also missing a remote control for one of the televisions. I have to say though, the gentleman who was working Saturday night at the front desk was very polite. When we arrived back at the hotel at around 10:30 PM, there were no parking spots available. I told the gentleman and he came outside with me in the cold to show us where we could park in the back. I was very impressed with that.

Enjoyed another stay. Any issues were quickly resolved by staff. Morning buffet had many tasty options and staff running it were friendly and helpful. Cookies were the best. Will be back again in May.

The place was amazing. I would recommend highly. Only issue we had was the bathroom tub surround still had hair on the wall and side. This issue was taken care of quickly and the staff was very apologetic about the issue. Stuff happens and I am so pleased with the staff and beauty of the Stone Gate Inn. We shall be back.

Rooms are nice but could use some paint. Pool was not working for the 2nd time. We called ahead and we're told it was working. Waited at the bar for a drink for 15 mins numerous people walked by and no one served us. I have never seen a room with a portable heater. Would not rush back. Would consider if things were fixed.

Cute Little Inn

Cute little inn. Very well kept. Breakfast included eggs not just bagels, toast and cereal. Small breakfast area was the only issue but you could take your food to you room. Room was clean and had a small kitchenette area with sink, fridge and utensils.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stone Gate Inn! The rooms were perfect and very comfortable AND the staff went above and beyond during our stay. Highly recommend. and this will be our home away from home when we travel to Orillia!

I was told there would be a $100 deposit for damage fee added onto my bill and returned if good. They charges my card the $229 whick was the additional $100 plus deposit then 4 mins later charged my card $129 for the room . The front seat could not understand how this was incorrect . It was eventually resolves but very frustrating now I have wait 3-5 days for the money to be put back into my account that should not have been charged .
