Clean & comfortable but dark & stuffy as no access to fresh air due to glassed in front verandah/hallway (presume that was to minimize road noise - which it did). Next time I will ask for room at back or upstairs.

We have used this motel before for our regular visits to Orange for officiating at kart racing. Rooms are large and comfortable. The gardens are pleasant and there is good access and plenty of parking.

Turners is a nice hotel with great views, I have stayed there on a number of occasions! My disappointment stems from my most recent two stays over the this past winter. On both occasions, I have arrived later into the evening and the rooms were ice cold, the rooms were still not to my comfort after 2 hours with the heat on.

Although dated (built in the 1960s) and in need of an upgrade, I would certainly recommend for a short stay. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, easy to warm, even though the temp was -5 deg outside and a great shower with plenty of hot water. Conveniently located on the Mitchell Highway but with no road noise.

We stayed on the top floor (middle room). It was fine except that the heater supplied took ages to warm the room when we returned for the evening after sightseeing. Even after a couple of hours it only reached 22 degrees! We watched TV under the doona.
