Mathis motel is a bit tired has been trading for a long time. The one thing that needs improving the TV they need to be easier to use. I have stayed here many times over the years and TV has not improved one bit. Staff are outstanding.
modern 63 unit motel, proximate to central business district, onsite parking, restaurantMore
Stayed 2 nights. Used the accommodation as a base for wider travel. Good value for price. Enjoyed use of full sized fridge, a feature that many motels neglect. Small courtyard overlooking gardens an extra bonus.
This is the guesthouse quarters of the Golf Club. A charming old building, a little run down but a warm and cosy ambiance. Staff were friendly. The creaky old stairs would not please everyone, but a great change from a boring old box room on the highway.
