Absolutely making this our regular spot when we stay in Carlsbad! Staff were incredibly friendly and had a service attitude. If it wasn’t raining I’m sure you would have caught us at the fire pit or in the hot tub (all the more reason for us to return). The room was aesthetic and SMELLED AND FELT clean! Might have to pester them for what sheets and pillows they use because I’ve never slept better. Such a shame we only stayed one night, I could’ve hung out there all week! Less than a 5 minute drive to Carlsbad village and basically walking distance to the beach! So cheap compared to what you see in this part of Cali. What a GEM!!!

The property is beautiful and clean, really tastefully updated. Our room was clean and super cute. It had almost everything we needed, even an air filter! The beds were very comfy and a nice shower experience. We loved the Japanese soaking tub. The courtyard coffee on the weekend was lovely. While there is a heating unit in the room, we did have to ask for an extra blanket since we like to sleep with a little more weight on us. There don't seem to be any employees on site, but they are VERY responsive to text. Also lots of cute stuff to walk to: coffee, restaurants, grocery, etc etc.

Place is super cute. Great upgrade on an old property. We paid extra for an early check in and the room was unfortunately not ready as stated. Thought the place was locally owned, but when we called customer service to ask a question it went to an international tele-desk. Not a fan of that at all, as we have friends who own boutique hotels and are the on-call customer service which is a big reason we don't book big hotels. Location is right on 101 at a traffic light, so road noise was pretty constant for our stay. TV and AC/heater remotes didn't work in our room, so my wife was pretty bummed. Slept good, water was hot.
