My family and I loved our stay here at Little bay house. House is in a quiet well maintained area with great views of the water walking distance from the property. Our Host Michael was a wealth of information with great activities and food all across the area. Would definitely stay here again, we had a great time
We had a wonderful time at the Little Bay House. Home was spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool was a great option rather than load up for the beaches every day.
We had a great stay celebrating my birthday at the little bay house. Mike was very communicative months before my stay and helpful with connecting me with resources while I made plans. The house was clean and all amenities just as described. Special shoutout to Yasmine the housekeeper for being a great host throughout our stay.

Excellent Vacation Property in Barbados
This was a wonderful home overlooking the ocean. The house was very clean and wonderfully designed. My extended family had plenty of room. We enjoyed the house and the pool. A wonderful addition was the wireless internet and library of 850 movies. There were numerous activities near-by including beaches, restaurants, shopping, and activities. We spend several days at Foul Beach which was only minutes away. We also visited the Crane Resort and enjoyed a great lunch pool side.
I would highly recommend this house to my friends and family. So much so, that we are planning another visit in May.

The definition of
I've visited Barbados a few times in the last couple years, mostly recently in March 2009 when a group of friends and I stayed at Little Bay House. Let me tell you, this is the definition of vacation! The house provides every ammenity you can think of, from comfy outdoor lounges, multiple desk/porches, large new kitchen, movies galore and an adjustable speaker system throughout. During our week's stay, we were able to have fun party nights both inside the house and out on the town, as well as relaxing nights cooking dinner and enjoying the seaside breezes by the pool.
The location is unique, something you will NOT experience when visiting the island on a cruise or staying at a hotel chain/property. You have so many unique, uncrowded beaches within a short walking or driving distance. When you stay here, you are truly on vacation - thanks for such a great trip!
We are a family of six adults (ages 45 - 77) and three teenagers who all agree that Little Bay House fit our varied needs perfectly. It is spacious, bright, and comfortable; with a well-equipped kitchen, good beds, washer/dryer, and fast Wifi. The hot tub and pool in the back yard became centers of activity, as did the decks, patio, and porches. The residential neighborhood was quiet and scattered with dogs, cows, and goats, as well as numerous trails down to Foul Bay. We found that a van rental worked well for us, but there are also bus stops close to the house. There was always a wonderful breeze blowing off the sea, but air-conditioning was also available. And, to top it off, managers Kris and Andrew looked after our every need; by the end of the week, we had become good friends. We cannot think of any major way to make this a better place to enjoy Barbados; thanks from all of us.

Great for groups who like Beautiful spaces
Well what's not to say that already hasn't been said. Overall it was an excellent place to stay. The house is great and very well equipped all around. Everything from music, movies, and board games were plentiful. Along with almost every kitchen appliance you could need (along with a sharp knife, which never happens and is my VRBO pet peeve). Only complaint would be that the grill was non-functioning, which wasn't a big deal do to the great kitchen. Foul bay was probably my favorite beach that we went to on the whole island, and we saw many beaches. I really liked being on the East side of the island, it was a real treat and preferred it to most of the island. It's still super easy to get into the "city" and easy to find a deserted beach. All in all, Mike is a great host with excellent communication and along great neighbor's that greeted us and were very willing to help us out. Not sure what else you could ask for in a place to visit. Thanks Mike. Can't wait to come back soon!

Third Time's a Charm
This was our third time to visit the Little Bay House this year. It was another perfect vacation with a perfect house, location, beach and neighbors. We enjoyed the amenities of the house including the selection of movies, internet, sound system, and the large kitchen. There was plenty of privacy for our group. We really did make the most of the well stocked kitchen. Thanks to Andrew (the neighbor and house manager) for stocking the fridge. We made lots of mango margaritas while hanging out by the pool. This vacation was a little more low key. We enjoyed the beaches. We were lucky to see a group of 20 monkeys about 2km from the house. Our favorite activity is the Calabanza Cruise. We have managed to do the sailing three times. Gina is a doll and her crew will make sure you enjoy the day. Also, I know some people choose not to rent a car, but I would highly recommend getting one. It is easy to get around the island and nice to just jump in the car and see where you end up. Thanks for the use of your house Michael. We will be back again.
Spacious Villa with Perfect the Pool & Spa for entertaining & relaxation
Our stay at this beautiful vacation house was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spaciousness and elegance of the property. The house is beautifully decorated, with every room offering a perfect blend of comfort and style.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool and spa area. The pool was pristine and inviting, perfect for a refreshing dip on a sunny day. The spa experience was equally amazing, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere that melted all our stress away. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, soaking in the spa, and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
One of the most delightful features was the outdoor beds. These cozy, well-cushioned beds were perfect for lounging during the day and stargazing at night. It added an extra touch of luxury and comfort to our stay.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the outdoor dining area was a fantastic spot for family dinners under the stars. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all had restful nights.
The location was ideal. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
We can’t recommend this vacation house enough! It was the perfect setting for a memorable celebration of a special occasion with friends and family, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Mike & Yasmin for an unforgettable experience!
Overall we had a wonderful stay at Little Bay House. Our entire family (11) including my senior parents, 6 adults, 2 teens and a child came on this trip. The house was spacious and having the back patio pool area was great for the kids to swim and another lounge area in the evenings while others watched TV in the living room. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and had more to than enough pots, plates and everything you need to bake and cook. We were able to host our family, that lives locally, to a birthday dinner for my mother’s 79th birthday.
One problem with the kitchen was the refrigerator would not keep cold. It also leaked. So everyday so we had to lay 2-3 towels down. The owners did send someone over to check on it, but it didn’t fix the entire problem. Then we had trouble with 2 A/C Units, one in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. They were both repaired in a timely fashion.
We loved the neighborhood. It was on the quieter side of the island. It felt safe to walk around and greet the neighbors. The views were gorgeous. We loved the sea breeze. Yasmin and Micheal were great at communicating. We would definitely stay here again.
We have been visiting Barbados for over 20 years and as our family has grown we decided to try Little Bay House. We are so happy we did! The host maintained excellent communication and response time with us from the moment of booking to following our vacation. Arrival was an absolute breeze (along with the ones off the sea) and the house was immaculately cleaned and maintained. There was 11 of us, ranging in ages between 13 - 80 years old and we were all thrilled with the accommodations! The home has a perfect layout to accommodate large groups, providing enough room to all spend time together or allow yourself some personal space to relax! The house was equipped with all the amenities....from laundry and linens, to a crock pot so meals are ready when you return home from the beach, and most importantly a blender to create those poolside drinks! The backyard is large enough to host a great party (which we did to ring in the New Year) with it's poolside cabana's, bubbling hot tub and well maintained pool! The balcony's off the bedrooms and open concept indoor/outdoor living provided amazing breezes to come through the home. The location was perfect. Close enough to walk down to an amazing beach, great views of the sea, and very personable neighbours willing to offer suggestions of all that Barbados has to offer. I have high expectations, especially in relation to cleanliness and Little Bay House exceeded it. If you are looking for a place to show up with a suitcase and relax, Little Bay House is the perfect landing! Looking forward to returning next year!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
It Started Out Well
The booking was smooth and Mike was a great communicator. However, we were out of water for two days (not his fault), but how he reacted was. I understand it was out if his control, but we asked for a hotel and instead he wants to send us to a friend's house to shower. He wouldnt send us to a hotel for one night. The first night we were ok, and we were told it would be on by night so we stayed out all day (didnt come on until 12:30 am). We didnt get to go to church.
The curtains in the master bedroom need to be room darkening so the sun doesnt wake you up at 6:30 am. Also, the light switches are confusing.
When searching beachfront, this listing came up. It is not beachfront and the only room you can see the ocean is the bathroom (which is connected to another room) and the balcony attached to the master bedroom.
The next door neighbor's dogs (to the right when facing the house) are let out, or just start yapping, at 6:30 am without fail. Again, not within Mike's control, but an annoyance. The neighbor across the street parks in front of the driveway making it difficult to park in the driveway.
Mike is very knowledgeable about the area and a GREAT communicator if you need suggestions. He also has a guy who rents cars (we didnt know so we rented a car).
I will start by saying that the property itself is not bad (not perfect, but not bad). The experience was not good from day one primarily because of the host’s complete lack of contact, which made the entire party, and some of my family in the area suspicious that we had been scammed.
We received no welcome email or anything the day we were to check in, which was a nightmare in terms of getting there from the airport (the taxi driver wanted confirmation of where we were going before taking us to the address, and the fact that we had no phone number or contact, and no confirmation of how to get in the home was hard for first time travelers to the island). After begging the cab driver to take us anyway, we literally had to go rifling around the house and found the key in the mailbox, which immediately created a bad taste for some of the party.
We get inside, and the house looks as advertised, though the refrigerator does have a significant leak coming from the ice dispenser, which we had to watch since we had 3 children with us (wanted to prevent slip/fall accidents in the kitchen.
As we tried to settle in, we find that 3 of the four ACs on the hosting floor are not working, and one of the ACs on the bedroom floors doesn’t work. The neighbor, who used to manage the place for the host (who is remote) came over to check in on us as we were settling in (or maybe to check that we belonged there thinking about how we had to come in)…. So glad he did. We couldn’t figure out Wi-Fi (he helped with that), told us who to call about the dysfunctional ACs, and advised that he no longer works with the property for personal reasons (side eye moment number two).
The host’s house manager and maintenance folks come over, and were nice enough, but both people came with their children or others, which was not comfortable given the amount of folks walking around the house who had no purpose being there.
Host NOW starts responding to messages, noting that he had a personal situation he was dealing with. Understandable, but still irresponsible way of handling us. By now, we had to figure our way into the house, had the neighbor come over and help us with some setting up, and then call for repair guy for non operational ACs. By the end of the day, all ACs still weren’t working, and some would not be working for the duration of the stay (one week).
We decided to cancel our stay and go to a hotel. Can’t say more as I’m at limit, but if you can go elsewhere, do.
Little Bay House was an awesome place for our girl's trip. Very spacious and was laid out perfectly with great appliances in the kitchen for all of your needs. The pool area is perfect for tanning and lounging. There are balconies off of three of the four bedrooms, all great for sun rises and sets. There was a short walk to the Beautiful and what seemed like a private beach, as we had it all to ourselves. Ourneifhbors and the people in the neighborhood were very friendly and welcoming. There is also a market a short taxi ride away where you can get all of your needs for your stay. We would definitely stay here again.
“The service was very good, and our stay was so relaxing.” This quote says it all: The service was so good that we could sit back, relax and enjoy the experience.
2. “I really liked the amenities.” Never underestimate the value of hot, fresh coffee in the morning, comfortable backyard with pool and hot tub with bubbles. free wifi, flat-screen TVs,
3. “The price I paid was absolutely worth it!” This is something every owner longs to hear from his or her guests: The stay was worth every penny, no matter what
“The staff was really kind and willing to attend any request.” Alongside thoughtful amenities and general comfort, an efficient care taker Yasmin/ Michael that excels at personal attention is a must-have for all Homes!
Book you won’t be disappointed!!!! We had an amazing time!
We stayed in the wonderful, comfortable home for a week, and it was perfect for our large group. Large, clean fully functional kitchen, all you need to add are the groceries. All towels and linen are provided.
The location is a bit secluded and you would need transportation.
Everything is well organized, functional and well maintained.
Before leaving for vacation I had a nice chat with Michael; the host, and he gave me more than enough information and took the time to go over all the details of the house.
My family loved this home and are already talking about returning!!
I have stayed at many Beach Houses and some with disappointments. This property showed no disappointments. It had the space, old vintage beach house luxury and a great pool area with two very large cabanas. The property was superior in cleanliness and enough beach towels to last 2 months. All you need is groceries and check-in to your stay in paradise!
We really enjoyed our stay at Little Bay House. The location is in a quiet part of the island but something that we loved as we could still travel around easily. It is a short walk to Foul Bay and Crane beaches which are some of the best beaches on the island. The villa was spacious and had everything you need to make it a great stay.
When I first stumbled upon this home, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Michael provided us with all the information needed prior to our arrival in Barbados. The house especially the Kitchen contains everything one need for a fabulous vacation stay.
The beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious enough to accommodate everyone. One day there was an issue with hot water but it was remedied right away. Our contact and great help Yasmine was always available for any questions we had and always went above and beyond to help us. I highly recommend this home and have already shared it with many. I can't wait to return to Little Bay House with the private beach, swimming pool ECT. My family and friends really enjoyed everything.
The fridge would not work properly all my meat and ice cream melted, AC in one of the bedroom not working and kitchen, I did not have access to the TV and radio, the jacuzzi is not really a Jacuzzi it just bubbles had no access to hot water, the place was not clean properly and the house was full of cockroaches and Jonny possible I even took a video of them after I sprayed...the Worst was the host would not answer any of my calls...not one greet us or informed us about the property deficiencies or could of told us to work anything...and for a person to be spending that kind of money and to be treated that way is not right...any contact number we saw in the house and called for assistance was told we no longer deals with the house but I am going to share my video with social media and contact my local authorities thank you
This was one of the best family trips to date, 14 of us in all, including 2 small children. The house is beautifully layed out with 4 roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool and whirlpool is amazing and the gorgeous cabanas. The caretakers, Kria and Andrew were quite friendly and helpful. One of the most memorable moments was the moon shining upon the sea, never seen anything like it. We were sad to leave but know we'll be back to enjoy The Little Bay House. Thanks Michael for a wonderful stay with great memories for the adults and kids. Oh and we had 5 teenagers who had a ball!
-The Smith's
Within minutes of getting to our apartment my 5 year old daughter had the tip of her baby finger cut clean off in one of the bedroom doors! Her finger was amplitated, it was a nightmare and we spent 3 days in hospital!
The doors are extremely heavy through out the property and as the location is by the sea front the wind can be strong running through the house! ALL DOORS NEED TO BE LATCHED WHEN OPEN TO AVOID LOOSING A FINGER TIP!
The house keeper who lives next door (let’s herself in when she feels like it) walked over to my 5 year old daughter and started talking to her!
The gardener/pool cleaner lets himself in also through the side gate into the garden: pool area and didn’t have the courtesy to knock first!
The house keeper who live next door has some very loud dogs of whom she advised one in particular does not like children!! So keep them away!
The walls inside the property have a rough finish, 2 of the children have been scratched when walking past!
Around the edge of the pool and outside seating area are some very big and sharp dangerous cactus plants in big pots!
Of which I myself have been now scared when brushing past it, along with 4 of the children whom stayed in the property of whom also were hurt!
Just before check out one of the children (6 year old boy) put his foot through a pane of glass in the patio door, in the process of dealing with the house keeper, trying to get her to let us talk to him direct re payment for damage caused, while my aunt gave the house keeper her contact details a message from the landlord popped up! He called us ‘Abusive liars’ as we had said that we didn’t have hundreds of dollars to hand over upon departure!
The property is not child friendly at all & should have advisory’s listed in the property listing!
We have now left the property and returned home, as my daughter lost her finger tip at the property infront of the house keeper (who help clear up all the blood) I have asked both herself and the landlord direct for an incident report as technically the property is used for business purposes so I’m presuming would be insured as one also but yet the landlord has no idea what an incident report is!
Location wise it’s very quite you definitely need a car to get around as you are far away from everything then taxis are a silly amount, average to town from property $80 one way and that’s supposed to be cheap!

Spacious and comfortable retreat with gracious amenities.
We greatly enjoyed our stay — the bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and beautiful views; the kitchen was well-appointed, with every tool you might need and plenty of counter space; the pool was pristine and the perfect temperature; and the home and grounds were replete with comfortable spaces to lounge away a day. We great enjoyed meeting Kris and Andrew, who were attentive and engaging caretakers. We especially loved Kris’ paintings which were on display throughout the house, giving the rooms character and beauty. The nearby beaches were perfect for walking and sunbathing, and wading at low tide. There are other beaches not too far away that are better for swimming, but none more beautiful than the one at Foul Bay. Keep an eye out for the local sheep who looks like goats and the intrepid geckos.

Beautiful home just not clean
The home was beautiful, the only issue was the cleanliness of the property. We had to wash all of the linen the first night we arrived due to dust and stains. All linen needs to be replaced due to holes and stains. Housekeeping did come to "spot" clean the home.
