Lovely place, host met us as we came in. Room was stalked with delicious goodies and fresh milk in fridge. A little tight to get to hotel but worth the drive up the mountain as the views are amazing. Convenient parking just up the road.

Carolyne was an excellent host. Meeting us at check-in and explaining the property. When she noticed we had mobility problems, she immediately asked if we would like to change to a downstairs room.The room was spotlessly clean, very good shower and plenty of tea, coffee makings and snacks. Parking was approx 50m away and no problem. Our host was available if we had any problems, of which we had none. The property is up a steep hill. My suggestion would be walk down (approx 12 minutes)and take a taxi back up (£5 approx). Overall a priceworthy and most enjoyable stay Only 1 problem, despite our best efforts, we were unable to detect any smell of pine, vomit, dampness or smelly dogs around mentioned in other reviews lol. Will definitely return if the host will have us.

Friendly, comfortable stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my one night at the guesthouse. The host could not have been nicer or more helpful. My room was great with nice touches of hospitality. The bathroom could use a little updating but nothing major—it all worked! Others have mentioned the steep uphill location, so I’ll just say, yes, it’s a climb. If you arrive with lots of luggage and don’t have a car, maybe get a taxi! But you end up on a nice quiet road with great views.
