Comfortable Hotel Near Oban Harbor

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, and the towels were nice and fluffy. It was close to the harbor and restaurants. There were two coffee makers (Nespresso and Nescafé), bottled water, and chocolates in the room. We did not choose the breakfast because we prefer going to restaurants. Overall, this was the nicest 3-star hotel of our two-week stay in Scotland. Highly recommend if you are in Oban.

This is one of the only places in downtown Oban that had off-site parking which was excellent! Be sure to get a cottage room out back. There's only two. They are fantastic.

Okay for a one night stay but a bit run down

Furniture in room has some significant wear and tear. Shower is tiny (like a small telephone book). Bed was clean and comfortable. Bar only takes card (no cash). Lobby run by same person bartending.
Bed just fits room.

My wife and I were incredibly surprised and happy with our accommodations at the Scot. It’s so incredibly conveniently located, completely walkable to shops and restaurants. The accommodation was huge and was complete with every modern convenience needed for a great stay, including a washer/dryer! Very pleased with every aspect of the stay.

The property was walkable to all of the sites in Oban including the ferry terminal. It offered free parking. Breakfast was not included with the room, but there were plenty of restaurants close by.

We had a studio which was excellent. Modern and well equipped. Especially liked the washing machine/dryer. We were able to park our car right beside the unit so no stairs etc
