Great hotel , nice and clean , family friendly and not too noisy. However, they did not have any bandaids for simple cuts

Delapidated and over priced

Arrived at 7.30pm so had dinner immediately. Drilling was apparent in main reception area, when I stepped outside the main foyer there was a building site. Air con turned off in room in middle of night leaving puddles and a wet floor which I slipped over in. I informed staff but they didnt do anything. Beach was unuseable due to rubbish in water which was terrible. Food and drink whilst nice was terribly over priced with a 31% tax on top. Very disappointing start to a family holiday with my elderly parents.

Dear K bomb, Thank you for your review. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced due to AC malfunction. Rest assured that it has been addressed accordingly to avoid re-occurrence in the future. Pleased to clarify that the price of accommodation and other services provided at the hotel are subject to 10% service charge and 10% government tax (government tax is calculated from sum of price and service charge). The public beach located in front of the hotel is regularly cleaned by our gardeners’ team, even though it can be sometimes difficult to control the seaweeds and/or debris which might drift on the shore of the resort, anytime during the day. In addition, we also do weekly beach cleaning every Friday, collecting trash along the coast, which involving our Department Heads and Excom from our hotel. Once again, thank you for communicating this valuable feedback to us and hope to welcome you again in the near future. With regards, Markus Kosch General Manager

Stunning gardens

Pros: grounds, service, pools
Cons: Food quality
Location: Great location with a clean beach you are able to paddle in. Great restaurants nearby and convenience stores. Bali Collection Shopping near.
Just returned from 8 nights here. Can't fault the grounds, facilities and staff. Breakfast was fantastic however the other food we had was extremely average and expensive, although that would be fine if it was good. Club Sandwich was dry and tasteless, pizza undercooked and soggy, nasi goring bland, fish and chips dry........ We ate out most lunches and dinner with good and inexpensive options around. Royal India across the road is amazing but our favourite is Giorgio's at the Aston 5 mins up the road, we go back every time we are in town (more than once) and it is sensational. If the Conrad got this right then it would be impossible to say anything negative.

Previously good hotel- now disappointing

Evidence of any management lacking. Breakfast was disorganised chaos. Too many package tours which take away from the individual nature of the experience. Long walk from the suites to pool and breakfast with young children. Property also needs maintenance as is lookkng a little tired. Room condition was very good.

Great resort, pleasant and hassle-free stay

Pros: Swimming pool. Staff. Service. Food.
Cons: More information could be given to guests about hotel amenities. The spa is very pricey. Hotel could have given reasonable offers and packages.
I stayed in Conrad with my family for 6 days in Jan 2016. The staff were great and quite attentive to requests. The breakfasts were delicious. During the day, we had a relaxing time by the pools and the quality of food served during day was superb. I had read previous posts complaining about the noise from water sports. But I personally didn't find it annoying. It was there only a few hours a day and it kinda disappeared among voices from kids playing in the pool. No problem with room service. We actually got room service 2 or 3 times a day rather than one. The hotel had the free meal for the kids when parent ordered a meal. We used the offer many times and we are happy that we did. The kids club was OK and my son enjoyed it. There are good choices of restaurants around. But make sure to ask to ask Hotel lobby staff for recommendations. We asked twice and we were not disappointed. We had dinner in the Hotel for 2 nights (Suku) and the food quality was great. For the other nights we went to Bali Collection. Just mind that most of the restaurants there (apart from one or two) have the same menu. So if you find a good one just go there again and try something else from the menu. On the downside, there wasn't any entertainment programs for the guests or at least I didn't notice any. Although this was OK for us, but I think more guests would have stayed for dinners if something was going on.

Meet the world on the island of the gods

Best location in Bali, best 5 Star experience ( remember the Conrad Bali is part of a global and historical hotel phenomenon- Hilton-and reflects this in its elegance and service) I love the people you meet there. I lave lapped the pool with international sports stars, commented on the eggs benefict to beautiful young lasses whose faces are so so familiar, and only later do you go oh no, that was.... High tea was such a treat last week, we would plan our whole day around it. On Thursday this gorgeous lady from China came in, looking out of this world in a red dress worth dying for, and within seconds we were chatting and taking photos. And, I am over 60 and fit into the grumpy old woman category and I am blonde, Australian etc but here I meet the world. This gracious elegant lady, the Conrad Bali, will sail the eastern coast of Nusa Dua, with charm and style long after the others fade into obscurity. It is THE hotel in Bali where you can meet the world In style

Beautiful, yet very frustrating and not welcoming.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, however we felt that our entire experience at the Conrad was very frustrating. The hotel is extremely large and finding your way around can be very difficult. The breakfast was average. Service was overall good, however staff were nowhere near as friendly as we had experienced at other hotels in Bali. The location of the hotel is frustrating as there are very few restaurants or anything close. Luckily we hired a scooter for the duration of our stay which made it a lot easier to explore the beautiful beaches and gems of Nusa Dua. Our room was large and overall very nice, however the hotel is quite aged and you could feel this withon the rooms. We had one round of drinks at the hotel during our 5 day stay and decided to not use these facilities after paying $25 AU for a vodka with diet coke and a Bintang beer. The drinks and food were very expensive and we much rathered exploring elsewhere to enjoy these. Overall we did not enjoy our experience at the Conrad Bali and will not be returning and would not recommend to others.
