I always that this was an upscale Hotel but it is not. It's Old and tired and doesn't compare to cheaper Hotels in the area, and you don't even get free breakfast! The staff were OK, but I booked a specific room and when I showed up it was no longer available, they didn't offer any kind of compensate or anything after asking. I was charged twice from Expedia and the Hotel, but was eventually given my money back when they took the hold off my Credit Card. The room smelled like it was a smoking room 10 years ago and they just spray fabreeze after every stay. The TV wasn't working so I told the font counter and they replaced it pretty fast. The pool looks bigger and nicer in the pictures. There's a Tim Hortons across the road but there is a constant Homeless and Police presence there. I thought it was going to be a fun memorable stay but it was just more expensive place to sleep.

It was great for seeing a show in a concert in the park, which was the reason for the stay. Vintage hotel, in good condition, on the river. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was awesome!

Ideally situated downtown, close to many dining options and the vital life of this small city. Picturesque setting next to river and city lake and central park. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Staff is outstanding, tbh.

We Loved Our Stay in Peterborough

We loved, LOVED our stay at the Holiday Inn in Peterborough. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very conveniently located. We will definitely be back.
