Very nice quiet property. Grounds and trails are fantastic. Food in the restaurant was great. Overall the facilities were good. Nicely updated and clean, although we did have a clogged shower drain in our room, and the phone did not work.

A calm, clean and soothing setting. Large property and easily accessible from the parking lot. Pleasant staff and incense infused atmosphere for a calming impact. However, this will not be for you if you are sensitive to scents or perfumes as the common area of this facility is noticeably scented with traditional incense.

I didn’t like the treatments. Overpriced and not at all what I expected. When I asked about the map to walk around it was all wrong. The property is nice because of its surroundings but it’s shame that they don’t do much enhancements - sauna didn’t work, yoga teacher on vacation - no replacement, steam room not hot enough, decounter in the rest lobby leaking water. Public toilets in the general area - rusty taps and dusted, toilets dirty. For the price not at all worthy. There are better places for spa and treatments. The only thing attractive is the surroundings but the staff don’t know about the walks. Food was great.

Room didn’t seem clean, shower had to wait ten minutes for water to heat up, bathroom slider door wouldn’t close, stuck out of room every time we left-key card, would turn green but not open. No tv service, said to be because of the rain. Put in downstairs room when not many people seemed to be there. Expensive for what you received

If you like quiet and want to relax. This is the place for you. It has hot tubs a steam room and Sauna on site. Also a spa to get whatever you like. The manager was super accommodating when we asked if they had a walk out room and she found one available. It was so great to celebrate our our 20th wedding anniversary.

The dinning area and the kitchen staff were great as well as the majority of the servers. I have dietary allergies and intolerances and the chef came out to see me personally on numerous occasions to make sure that I was well taken care of. The hotel and spa is family owned which provided a very special and unique experience for me. Being of Indian decent and surrounded by furniture and artifacts from India provided an experience I have not yet had in Ontario. Unfortunately however, the cleanliness and maintenance of my room, the hallways and other main areas were below my expectations. There were greasy hand prints on the door and patio windows. the remote was sticky and other surfaces were dusty. There was an ongoing leak in the bathroom that damaged the baseboards and between floor tiles. There wasn't regular housekeeping and when I did ask to have those items cleaned in my room, while I was away, they were not. I had to be in the room to ensure that it was cleaned and even had to ask for them to come back to do a thorough job. The spa service that I had was great. The practitioner was knowledgable and professional. The facilities however were not well maintained. After using the hot tub there was a strange smell coming off of my skin. Overall, I feel like there is just not enough, well trained dedicated staff, quality checks and circulation of the building by management to clean and maintain this gorgeous space that has such potential.

We enjoyed our stay. Location is quiet, clean, comfy. Staff is lovely and helpful. The resort itself could use some sprucing up but the beds were very comfortable, spa was lovely, food was very good.
