Attractions for all can be found at the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, half an hours drive, with Blue Flag Award sandy beaches, pier, promenade gardens, golf courses, Splash swimming pool and Poppyline Steam Railway, journeys through beautiful countryside and neighbouring coastal villages onto Holt. Norfolk Broads for waterfront cafes, restaurants, boat hire, river trips, fishing (in season) and sailing, 7 miles. Hickling Broad with Wildlife Trust nature reserve, 6 miles. City of Norwich, cathedral, castle museum, cafes, pubs and excellent shopping, 20 miles. Shop and pub 1/2 mile.

Large well equipt house.

We had a lovely week at Pembroke House, the rooms are large. The games room was great. Garden is pretty, functional and sunny all day. We are a multi generational family aged between 21-78 and the dining and front rooms had plenty of seats, so bonus no fighting for chairs! The kitchen is kitted out so well with everything you could need for self catering and there’s a lovely big BBQ. The only negatives were the mattresses are possibly at the end of their life (very soft with roll together) and the bathrooms and kitchen are functional if a little dated. Happisburgh beach is lovely and clean with good parking facilities. We highly recommend Shambles cafe/bistro in North Walsham for a delicious dinner.
