Ice machines broken. Room was dirty with mold in the shower and spiders in the corners. Pool was gross. Then the want you to pay for breakfast. 100$ rooms at the super 8 hav ethe same breakfast for free… nice!

Pros: Nice pool, convenient location, a lot of parking spaces. Good breakfast and bar. Cons: Facility a bit old, no elevator for a big hotel this size. Doors not soundproof at all especially the door between two adjacent room.

We got to the hotel for a memorial. And we stayed here from other people's prior experiences. Ours wasn't the same. We arrived in our room and the heat was really bad in the room. Which we expected. But when we went to turn the thermostat down, it said that it was 60 in there already... not even close. It was hotter than outside. The front desk said they would send their "engineer " over to look at it. He came and said that some people complain that it's too cold so it gets turned up... he let us leave to fix it and when we came back it wasn't fixed. It was the same. We let the front desk know and that said he said it was fixed. It was so hot in our room. My dad who was on the other side of the hotel had the same problem. We let them know before we left and they said that it happens often... and they'll look into it again... On top of that, there was little kids from a swim team upstairs that kept running and jumping until midnight and around 5am in the room above us. We were told we would have a room by my dad but it was on the opposite wing as us. We went to eat and the wait staff was amazing. The DJ need to learn to use his equipment because there was a horrible buzzing in the restaurant and the sign said kids could be in there until 8... he was blasting the music so loud we had to scream to talk. It wasn't 7 yet and karaoke was at 8... and he was singing a few songs over and over. The DJ said that they were going to play raunchy music. We had our 3 year old with us for di

This is an old and tired property in desperate need of serious renovations or at minimum deep cleaning and serious maintenance/repairs. Old dirty furniture in lobby and rooms. Balconies that haven’t seen housekeeping staff or maintenance in years. Filthy carpets throughout. Dank musty smell in halls. No bar or restaurant as stated. It’s a shame really because Red Lions used to be nice somewhat upscale properties which could be relied on. Certainly not anymore, especially in Redding CA.
