The staff was great. The room seemed very clean except for some stains on the walls and ceiling, and we found a few cigarette butts when we pulled a chair out from the wall.
The worst thing for me was the smell of smoke coming from the casino. I knew to expect some smoke (given it is a casino), but the hotel area is supposedly non-smoking. Our room was one that was the farthest from the casino, but it still smelled like smoke.
Walking through the casino to get to the restaurant was actually nauseating to me. I’m a former smoker, and can usually handle a bit of ambient smoke, but this was over the top. Maybe they need to invest in better ventilation system?
If you can handle the smoke, it was a great value. All of the staff were sweet and helpful.
