I recently stayed at the Wyndham Hotel Riverfront and had an overall positive experience. The hotel staff were truly exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and professional. The same can be said for the restaurant staff, who provided great service throughout my stay.
The rooms themselves were a bit on the older side and moderately clean. The bathrooms were small and dated, but the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the water stayed hot, which I appreciated. There was a faint odor in the room, though it wasn’t overwhelming.
On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was excellent—fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I also liked the convenient location, with fast food options just across the bridge (less than a mile away) and Benihana’s directly connected to the hotel. Access to the highway is quick and easy, and Walmart is about eight miles away for any supplies you might need.
All in all, I would stay here again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice if other options were available. The friendly staff and great breakfast make it worth considering, especially if location and convenience are priorities.
