This was a perfect place for me to stay in Nice. First, it is accessed via mews, in the interior of the block, so it does not border a street or sidewalk, meaning there is zero traffic noise. That's a real blessing for me. Second, housekeeping is by request only, so the environmental and labour costs of housekeeping are minimized. The bed was perfectly firm for me, and linens/pillows very comfortable. Shower and bathroom generally were spacious and worked well. Third, the location is great - very near an SNCF station and about a five minute walk from the nearest metro tram station at Jean Medecin. Fourth, they reached out to me a day or two ahead of time and provided good directions to the hotel. I really liked this place - I will certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to Nice.

A little gem of a hotel , quiet and peaceful haven within a busy city. Staff pleasant and helpful. Lovely little garden to chill out but no bar service. However if you wanted a drink there’s another little place directly next door you can use. Easily walkable from main station and into town.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a wonderful little gem of a hotel. The rooms were refreshed and newly remodeled. The location is walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. You feel like they have welcomed you into their home. Breakfast is fantastically made to order by chef Christopher. He may be the nicest person in the city of Nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this property. The hosts, Emma and Julie were both fabulous. They were very accommodating and helpful. They’re very responsive to all our inquiries. The rooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable and love the fact that it’s a 5 min walk to the Nice Ville GARD train station. Highly recommend this hotel if you visit Nice. It’s only a nice 20 minute walk to Old Town and their central plaza area!! Lots of cafe and restaurants within 5-10 min walk from the hotel. They have a little courtyard where you can have your coffee and breakfast in the morning!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic Boutique hotel.

It is an extraordinary boutique hotel with lovely courtyard with flowers and trees. The staff, Chloe, Julie and Emma hosted us like at home. Breakfast is elaborate and excellent. Maison Durante is right across the Nice ville railway station proximity to the tram line to visit the old town, sea side and café, restaurants, sightseeing, etc.

Really enjoyed our stay at Maison Durante. Spacious room which overlooked the patio. Staff were friendly, showing us to our room. Closely located to the station which is an easy hub to get to other towns and villages nearby. Also relatively short walk to the promenade. Would recommend dining at Voyageur Nissart and stopping by Mariass 1901 for a coffee.

The worst hotel experience. Old, damp and dirty.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. It was so bad that I had to cancel my reservation and find another place to stay. I wish I had the option to give a negative star rating. We had reserved two suite rooms and were assigned to Rooms 16 and 31. Both rooms felt damp, unclean and outdated, with AC units that didn’t cool properly, and low water pressure. Room 31 – This was an absolute nightmare. It was extremely humid, and the AC didn’t cool at all. The staff brought us two fans, but they didn’t help. Opening the window wasn’t an option because many mosquitoes would fly in. There was black mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom, a cracked wall, and a dirty rug. The room was so warm and damp that we were sweating as if we’d been swimming. It was simply unacceptable. Room 16 – It was slightly more acceptable since it’s on the second floor. However, you have to open the window to avoid sweating, which means dealing with a lot of mosquito bites. The door lock was either extremely complicated or just broken—we got stuck in the room three times and had to ask staff to unlock it for us from the outside. The hotel itself is old and rundown. The staff tried to be helpful, but they couldn’t compensate for the poor condition of the hotel. Both my family and I ended up with numerous mosquito bites. It’s hard to understand how other visitors could give this place a 4-5 star rating. The only good thing is the location is great, but you can totally find other way better options than

Great location next to the train. A bit of a walk to the promenade but it gives you a nice chance to explore beautiful Nice. My only concern was housekeeping. They only clean your room before 11 upon request. I’ve stayed many times in France and didn’t have this issue. Lots of food options around the area and a market a few blocks down the street.
