Multiple issues with our room. This hotel was listed as having free breakfast as well as a restaurant on site... none of this was true. The restaurant is completely closed down and roped off. And no complimentary breakfast was provided.
Also, our room smelled badly of fish. Not like good ocean smell, more like someone stored dead fish in the room and forgot them. I had to use incense to cover the smell. It was too cold to open the windows for very long.
Our room was clean-ish. Found a granola bar wrapper by the bed. The upholstered chairs were stained and one had a lemon-sized hole in the fabric in the side. The beds were very firm with little to no give. All the light fixtures were either broken, stained, or need updated bulbs. The room was very cold when we got there. If they know the room is going to be occupied, the heat should be on, especially since were there in winter, and it was raining and windy. The only heat for the entire room (with two sleeping areas) was a small wall heater (like 8" wide and 12" tall), so one bed area eventually got very warm and the other was cool.
You couldn't close the bathroom door unless you scooted behind the toilet. The sink area was very small. Only one person could be there at a time which doesn't make sense for a room with two queen beds.
There was lovely hot water though! And a great ocean view plus beach access (89 stairs down to the beach)!
