The room was dated, especially the bathroom. Don't think it's a 4 star hotel. But, the food both evening and the breakfast was very nice, plenty of choices. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely location on the banks of the River Tyne with spacious, clean rooms. All the staff were very warm, welcoming, helpful & courteous. We were pleased to find a wide choice of breakfast foods were available but some did suffer from being kept in the hot trays too long. Plenty of parking was available when we were there. a really enjoyable visit.

I paid for breakfast when I first arrived all ok. Then when I was leaving I was told that the receptionist had not done it correctly and that it was a wrong charge that the offer on the web site did not include VAT! and I had to pay more! I think thats very poor service and not right, if the cost does not include taxes then it needs to be addressed on your site. I say its false price on the site. Not good. I was not impressed by the person on the desk very unkempt and his shirt worn and scruffy not what I expect from your hotels.

Great stay, really happy with the room and the location, the price was really reasonable for our stay and the staff were helpful. I would suggest a bathroom update for the room would make the stay more comfortable and modern, but would stay here again if I come to Newcastle again in the near future. Thanks!
