Free popcorn available most of the time (kind of heavy on the salt though). Breakfast was good. The waffles were great but a sign with instructions would be suggested. Towels weren't very soft so bringing towels from home is advised. Sauna, hot tub and pool were nice (plus it's adults only after 10 pm).

The hotel itself was a decent place to stay. It was very quiet. Pool area was clean. I am not a fan of blue painted pools because it’s hard to see the bottom but the kids had fun splashing around. It is a dog friendly hotel and they did not tell us we were in a dog friendly room which had an interesting order like a cleaning product.

Okay older hotel typical of UP of Michigan. Bed spread needed cleaning. Breakfast wraps up a few minutes before 9 am. TV did not work until I reset the direct TV box (power cycle - takes a few minutes to boot up). Morning front desk friendly.
