They charge an additional $75 for “incidentals” which was never mentioned. They charge at check in ant at this point that charge is still not credited back to my card.

Room size was great. Didn't really feel safe walking the dog after dark. The side and back doors were locked for security reasons at all times. Large groups of students also staying and breakfast area was trashed. We never saw an attendant cleaning up or restocking food. Hampton usually offers a convenient quick bagel and juice but couldn't even get that for our entire stay. Staff was cordial but not friendly. When I asked for extra towels front desk acted very put out.

We had a wonderful stay. My family were in town for a convention in NYC. It was a quick uber ride to NY. We stayed on the water side which had a nice view. There is a train that runs outside but it didn't bother us any. The town itself if a bit rundown and some parts seem a bit unsafe, however, the hotel and immediate surrounding area was ok. We would sray here again.

Problems

Toilet plugged when arrived. Called front desk. No service for over 2 hours. Reported again; staff used plunger but problem not solved. Reported next morning—fast service but still not solved. Fire alarm sounded multiple times. Cords crossing hallway a hazard. Breakfast choices good.

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. Initially, we were given the wrong room, and to make matters worse, the bathroom door handle was missing, so we couldn’t open or close the bathroom properly. We had to call the front desk to report the issue, and while they did change our room, it was a very inconvenient situation, especially after a long journey. The new room wasn’t much better — it was extremely noisy due to constant train noise from outside. Overall, not a comfortable or relaxing stay.

My stay at Hampton inn was fine.Staff was good and helpful. The location is good for people who want to visit American Dream Mall, Overall experience was okay.Liked the view from my Room. Room size is good for people visiting with kids.But, I was Expecting more of the Hotel stay but generally it was okay. Cleanliness wasn't the best thing at the hotel. Room was not cleaned everyday.
