The room was super spacious. The staff was nice. It's very close to a train. The front desk allowed me to check in early - although there is usually a $50 fee for early check in.

Room needs better lighting, television's remote doesn't properly, goʻd breakfast, perhaps vege option? Nice room but the rug appears to be wornout. Still,, my stay comfortable and the staff is really helpful.

Perfect stay as always! The room and hotel were perfect as always—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I always enjoy staying here and appreciate the consistency in quality. One small suggestion: it would be nice to have an omelet station at breakfast and a small table with two chairs in the room. It would make it easier to enjoy a nice meal when traveling with another person. Overall, another great experience!

Opera House Hotel Staff are The Best, The GOAT

Opera House Hotel is a nice hotel in a sketchy neighborhood. It’s attractive, clean, comfortable, affordable and safe. The staff are FANTASTIC! I can’t thank the desk staff enough for Joe warm, friendly and helpful they were. They went beyond the call of duty, even helping my friend, who’s from a different country, change his plane flight.

Guy at the front desk was great and extremely helpful. Free secure parking was very nice. Subway stop 2-3 minute walk from the hotel and 20 minutes to Time Square. You are still in the Bronx but never felt unsafe just be prepared to see the normal things associated with a major city if you’re out at night.

This is my second time at this hotel, its clean and has lots of character. The staff is great. There are lots of local Latin & Mexican options. Subway is nearby. The neighborhood is sketchy, but also full of character and characters! I have not felt unsafe, but its definitely a diamond in the rough.

Staff were nice but the amenities at this property are very bad. The water machine is turned off at 11 AM after breakfast so if you don’t have water that you have yourself you’re SOL for the evening/night. The vending machine only takes cash and coins and is outdated. The picture posted of the exterior of the property on this app is not what it looks like in person. It looks like a completely different building. Staff was nice and room was clean but I would not stay here again.
