The location is amazing. You can walk to Yale University, restaurants, shopping, parks, entertainment, etc. The location could NOT be better. Parking is great. The staff were also incredible from front desk to Housekeeping. They were friendly and extremely responsive. The only drawback that we experienced was the lack of daily room maintenance. We expected that our room would be made up when we were gone for the day, but that did not happen. Our beds were never made by staff. We had to call the front desk and request fresh towels.

It was a wonderful hotel

We booked Airbnb and it was the New Haven Hotel. So Just like a hotel, no extra fees that I could see. Good area for walking to the Yale campus. Coffee maker in the room. Thanks for wonderful front desk service!

Check in went great. Woman at the front desk was very personable. Lobby is beautiful. Room was good. The view was a brick wall from the building next door only 2 feet from the window. Bathroom was good. The light brightness was adjustable by pushing buttons on the mirror glass. Bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash affixed to shower wall. Parking was 25 dollars/day; this wasn’t something I remember reading when booking the hotel. The woman at the desk comp’d the fee. Didn’t use any services or amenities, I just slept and left. If I stay here again, I will request a different view.

Poor customer service

This hotel was not what we expected. Not how it was advertised. Asked to check out and get a refund a few mins after check in and they wouldn’t refund or work with us! We turned in keys anyway! Very cold customer service and rude.
