The staff were lovely The hotel is old and tired, with very noisy ac, lamps that don’t work, lights which take a long time to work. Our bed was comfortable The downtown location was great

Room was on fourth floor near the end of a hallway, room had a gas fireplace on, and two air conditioners on. Bed was lumpy and springy, sheets felt like they were washed in bleach or a strong detergent. No signs of bedbugs, in any of the usual recommended search locations. Bathroom was overall great. Hotel would be great as a boutique hotel with renovation and some interior decorating, given its location and history. All in all, it was not a great room though the staff are very helpful. The hotel needs obvious investment and it still has potential.

It was just okay overall. The TV was very small and soo far away from the bed that we could not use it at all. The design of the washroom was just odd too, the shower was leaking, the toilet seat was soo conjusted that your elbow would hit the sink each time you would go for tissue. But the customer service was good at least and very helping too. Got quite a few food spots right beside it too

Jake at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant, ... made us feel welcome . Helped us with the intricacies of the tv remote!! The room was pleasant and the bed was good.

Rooms were very clean. Found mattress bit hard and uncomfortable. No parking on site. Had to walk a block to park but was paid by hotel. Breakfast in advertising is not to standard. 7 am no coffee ready. Attendant was on his phone instead of monitoring the breakfast. Very disappointed with the minimal breakfast ( cereal and toast)

We didn't expect too much after reading some reviews just wanted a place to sleep one night. Room was bigger than j thought but the door handle was very difficult to push down to open the door and I'm in shape! Bathtub was a bit dirty. TV is small with 3 remotes, so one to yurn on tv and the other one for channels. Old furniture look, bed wasn't the most comfortable but didn't care just for 1 night. It's located on the bar strip, walkable distance to Tim Horton, supermarkets and nice park

This was an inferior room; the TV didn't work and after half an hour had a temporary work around; very loud free standing large A/C machine in the middle of the floor; cold water in the bar sink doesn't come on; large, dirty mattress stacked up against the wall in the corridor. The only good thing was a concerned front desk clerk who did his best with what he had.
