Nice staff, good location close to shops and bay and comfortable bed. There was a bit of noise both nights from a band and from guests. The bathroom floor made water from the shower go to the wall and rot part the door frame and was a bit smelly. The room was spacious and attractive and so was the dining area.

Pub with decent rooms

The property is a pub with an accommodation wing separate from the bar and apart from the air-conditioning not working during my 3 night stay the room was reasonable. The room I was in looked like it had been recently updated and the bathroom looked brand new. While the hotel provides free parking it is a small parking area and also used by patrons of the bars. The location is good right in the centre of town and opposite the beach.

Stopped in at the Seabreeze Nelson Bay for a night - great pub dinner, watched the footy on the screen, and had a great sleep in the spacious rooms upstairs… Staff are super nice and friendly.. Would book again for sure…!

Property was clean located near the beach so conveniently located. Friendly staff The windows were tainted and could not be opened so no view or any breeze from the window. The AC went was right above the bed and had lights which were on full night couldn’t sleep

The shower was flooding. The floor boards in the room had water damage from multiple times being flooded from the shower. Parking was at the bottle shop and very hard to get a spot due to the fact that in the afternoon everyone would come to the pub. Reception unattended(had to go to the pub)

There was no receptionist. I had to check in and out from the bar downstairs. My room was upstairs, but there is no elevator, so had to haul suitcases upstairs on 70 year old knees. Room had a view of the wall across an alley. It was clean and nice location near the waterfront.
