Good location. Wish the bed size was at least a queen. Double bed is quite small for 2 people. Room only came with 3 pillows. Went to request for 1 extra pillow. Staff stated our room only comes with 3. I had to explain myself just to receive the extra pillow. They need to understand that not everyone sleeps with 1 pillow. I shouldn't have to explain myself. If I needed an extra pillow why make it hard to provide it. Like just give it to me.

Checked into room and windows were wide open. In early April. Closed windows and headed into town. Came back and room smelt musty and like a septic had backed up somewhere in building and they put new carpet and paint on an older building to fix it. Attention to detail was very lacking. Scum on bathroom fixtures. No toiletries to speak of. You get a tiny bar of soap. The tv was small and channels and navigation of channels were abysmall. The bed was like a cheap camper mattress. You can tell the current owner tried, but in the low budget end. Breakfast options were extremely limited and not worth having. No bagels, cream cheese, or oatmeal. It consisted of muffins, bread, yogurt and bananas with juice. The coffee in room and at breakfast was equivalent to bad gas station coffee or hospital waiting room. It’s there if you must drink it. All in all, it was a place to lay your head for the night. It met that need. I felt safe, and mostly clean. Would I stay again? Probably not for the price. Unless I was roadtripping and just needed a place to crash. Then it’s fine. Don’t expect anything above basic.

No hot breakfast

The room was adequate. The breakfast was minimal, the only hot item was waffles. Cereal, yogurt, toast. The hotel hallway smells of old food, wet carpet, and young men's bo. To be fair, the stinky boys were bowling at state so i can be forgiving. The parking lot needs to be refinished and clearly painted. I'm handicapped and had a difficult time seeing the cement paint. This also caused confusion for other customers and they parked so close to my car that i was challenged getting out. Upon arrival, the woman at the counter appeared to possibly still be in training. She was the most polite and thoughtful person by opening the doors to the hotel and elevator. She moved our room closer to the elevator so my walk would be shorter. The hotel offers the minimum and not one thing above that.

The bathroom door did not shut. So you had to use the barhroom with the door slightly open and the toilet is right there, so no real privacy. The bed clearly had plastic on it as it was very hot. We both woke up sweating and it was not from the temp of the room. Not really comfortable to sleep on.

I don’t recommend this hotel. The breakfast is very limited. The walls are very thin. Don’t get this hotel if you are in the rush to check out. The front desk will make you wait while they check the room. Overall, not a place I will stay again.
