Pictures posted in line were a bit deceiving. The name Howard Johnson is seen as nice hotels and rooms, but this one was a motel that was somewhat renovated… I asked and paid for a King bed but when I got there all the Kings were taken and I was given a room with a Queen with no reimbursement. The water did not get hot, it was like warm at best and this was late in the evening. The water then refused to get warm let alone hot when I went to shower in the morning. The hotel advertised there would be breakfast and all they had was 2 cereal choices, a couple yogurts and a muffin… I would not stay here again, I’d spend the extra $20 dollars and stay somewhere a bit nicer.

Nice hotel, bad area

We had planned to stay here for 3 nights. Staff was friendly and room was comfortable and clean, but highway noise was extremely loud. We only ended up staying one night due to the prostitutes working on the side street next to the hotel where the hotel has a gated off entrance. Since anyone can walk in through the main entrance of the hotel, we decided to leave. Very sketchy part of town!
