What our guest are saying, We loved our stay!!! The stream, humming birds galore, fireplace and fire pit, grill, jacuzzi and nice cabin with everything you need. We like that the main floor rooms were on opposite ends and multiple bathrooms. They are very responsive to any questions you might have and great host. I'd definitely stay again. This place was absolutely wonderful...It was so lovely to watch the aspen leaves fall, gold against the blue sky. Lovely creek, meadow and the hot tub was so clean when I opened it, I'm sure I gasped. Really!! I like hot tubs. Mornings were in the tub watching the sunshine on the opposite hill, looking over the creek, and listening, as you can hear it if the tub jets are off. Inside of the house is just as pictured. Everything very clean and well stocked..We shared a wonderful time. Thank you!

The layout was excellent for our family of five, with three bedrooms and bathrooms. The bed configuration worked perfectly for the room with a child. Each room had direct access to the outside, allowing us to enjoy the porch with the stream flowing or watch the deer in the front yard. The location was ideal for leaf peeping in St. Elmo and accessing the 4x4 trails in the Ute Mountains.

The host and checkin was prompt and easy. The cabin had 2 bedrooms that were 5 star however, the basement seemed to be in transition to eventually have a kitchenette because there were unfinished cabinetry and the refrigerator and microwave were not plugged. The basement bathroom is not suitable for tall or big people as the toilet and sink were in close proximity to each other. None of the tvs in the bedrooms worked for us.

Wonderful place for a family
It was perfect! Beautiful location, nice rooms, and well- equipped. We were 4 adults. It was great for games, relaxing, very close to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, and near beautiful hikes. We didn't go to the Hot Springs, because the cabin comes with an excellent hot tub, which was sparkling clean. Loved this place!

Location location
Great location and the home is better than pictures on listing. The ambiance was terrific! Stars, hot tub, and hummingbirds were fantastic! Lots of outdoor things to do on the property if you just want to stay home. Gurgling river puts you to sleep! Trails and hot springs close by, and only 20 mins from BV. One caveat, master bedroom is not air conditioned like rest of the house, but really didn’t need it as open windows and fans kept us plenty cool. The few issues we had were resolved quickly. Hosts are very, very kind and accommodating. They even lent us their own personal chairs for fishing! Enjoyed our stay!

Nice place in a great location
The listing accurately reflects the rental. It is in a great location and we enjoyed the hot tub alongside the creek.
One thing to note - I would say this place is less pet friendly and more pet tolerable. They block off the master bedroom saying pets are not allowed in it, which is a bummer if you have your pet sleep in the same room. They also require you to cover all furniture if you bring pets but do not provide sheets to do so. And they require you to vacuum before departing despite making you pay both a cleaning fee and a pet fee.

A piece of Heaven!
Diane and I highly recommend this property. From the owners, Brent & Diana to the beautiful location nestled between 2 mountain ranges to the abundance of wildlife to the comfortable cabin. We travel Wyoming, Montana & Idaho several times a year but this trip was our favorite. Surrounded by beautiful mountains no matter where you travel around the area. Wildlife!!! Mule deer, antelope and elk galore. It starts with drinking coffee or your adult beverage on the porch and the local mule deer will definitely invite themselves to the party. Only feet away from you, presenting awesome opportunities for close up picture. If you want unmatched beauty that will provide plenty of rest, please contact Brent & Diana! Truly, our best vacation yet.

Cool get a way
It was great to get away from the Texas heat! We loved the patio and our guests the hummingbirds and the beauty of the mountains and forest. We spotted twin fawn with mom and dad mule deer. The house was quite comfortable and spacious. The kitchen could use more bake ware for casseroles and plastic containers with lids for leftovers. This is our 4th time in the Buena Vista area and it always is a memorable trip. Thank you for sharing this home!

Cute Little Home
The home is charming and the location is great if you want to stay close to St Elmo or the hot springs! A few things you might want to bring, extra towels, they provided one towel per person and a hand towel per bathroom. If you plan to bake anything in a baking dish, you might grab a disposable when you get groceries. Overall, great stay!
