About this property

Puntoxenia aragonese towers

The apartment is located in the heart of city centre, in an ideal location for those arriving in Naples by various modes of transport; it is a 5-minute walk from the central station—and thus from the metro—and just a 15-minute drive from the airport. San Gregorio Armeno and all the major attractions of the historic city centre are within a few minutes’ walk.In fact, the apartment is located at the end of the decumanus known as Via Tribunali, facing Castel Capuano and overlooking Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana, from where you can admire the fabulous Aragonese gate that serves as the city’s entrance.Recently renovated with taste and high-quality finishes, it faces both the square and Via Rosaroll with balconies and windows. Each room has its own private bathroom and is located on the third floor (no lift) of a historic building constructed at the beginning of the last century.
I am an architect deeply in love with my city, always available and ready to offer excellent advice so that my guests’ stays become true sensory experiences.I work professionally in the city and am well-versed in both Naples’ millennia-old history and its incredible opportunities for those spending a few days in this magical place. I’d be more than happy, should the need arise, to personally inform you about places, itineraries, and the city’s vibe.
The apartment is located across from the city’s most important Aragonese gate:Porta Capuana, built in 1484 by King Ferranta of Aragon, has always been a crossroads of multicultural influences and artistic and literary vitality—so much so that it gave rise to the Latin Quarter in the early 1900s. It is centrally located near the city’s major historical, artistic, and architectural landmarks as well as its main leisure attractions, equidistant from the Greek quarter, the Central Station, and the port—all just a few metres away. Right across the street lies the ancient village of St. Anthony the Abbot, with its church and characteristic market—one of the oldest in the city. Just across the street, you’ll find Castel Capuano, the Abbey of St. Catherine in Formiello, a splendid example of Renaissance architecture, and the museum complex of the historic “Bourbon wool mill,” featuring the recently restored Cloister of Santa Caterina a Formiello, home to the city’s first “urban regeneration” project: Made in Cloister. Nearby are top-notch attractions such as the Royal Botanical Garden and the theatres of the Eduardian tradition, not to mention the historic restaurants serving traditional cuisine.
