Horrible hvac system too hot and too cold thermostat, the bed was very hard too uncomfortable to sleep on. Room got locked an hr before checking out, couldn’t het through the property (lobby) cones everywhere unable to reach the lobby

Front Desk Attendants either Did NOT CARE or Didn’t even know it was their JOB to Check Guests IN,. And not explain every single Resort feature to guests in TRIPLICATE!! Rate it a D-

Our stay here was disappointing to say the least. We arrived just before 4:00 and were told that due to some late check outs, our room was not ready. ETA was about 4:30-4:45 and we would be texted. At the time we were told that we would be credited an "x" amount of money for the inconvenience & it could be used towards food, drinks, etc at the hotel. 4:45 came and went. Checked back in & were told it would be another 15 min and we would be credited $100, which I said I would just want refunded vs having to use it. We had also mentioned that we had dinner reservations & needed to be able to get into our room. At 5:15 we finally rec'd the text. The grounds are lovely, however, finding our room in the dark was challenging. Signs were not well lit and/or hidden behind plants. And all the employees driving around in the golf carts expect you to step aside on the narrow paths vs them pulling over and letting guests have right of way. We finally go to the room to discover that the closet door didn't slide, the sink drain wouldn't stay open so we had to constantly push down on the lever for the water to drain, & the sheet on the box spring was dirty. Maintenance fixed the door (we had not yet discovered the other two items). Next morning we had issues w/ the shower - old, old fixture that was difficult to use & the smallest adjustment would go from really hot to cold. At checkout no mention was made of the credit, we were not asked how our stay was and I had to push for the credit.

hotel is clean and nice. when i booked i did not realize the format and layout of this property. the rooms appear to appear to formerly be apartments where 1 bedroom with private bath is partitioned off for the apartment. so you have a private entrance from outside. my room was quite far from the check in / lobby / restaurant area. you drive there after check in. if walking there is a shortcut and the walk is about 10 min by the putting tees and driving range. you can also request hotel car or golf cart service to the room. but the rooms can be far (depending on which rooms you book). so it doesn’t quite have the same conveniences of a normal hotel. this place is abit more unique.
