We loved staying here and enjoyed the local laidback vibes. The breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely. The housekeeping staff was so kind. All of the check in and communication was clear and easy to follow. Taxi suggestions and brochures in the house gave us plenty of options to stay busy! Thanks for a great stay!

I had a beautiful view for the sunrise. The property met my goal of being convenient to Nantucket town so I could sightsee the Whale Museum and all the shops and dining. I never needed to interact with the staff because it was already taken care. The whole space was extremely clean and compared to my cousins who stayed at other inns, quiet. I didn't hear any of my neighbors in the Inn or any street noise.

This is the perfect location for exploring Nantucket and the downtown area you can walk to virtually everything took me five minutes to get off the ferry to the house . The manager was very present at the property and very communicative sharing restaurant recommendations and just very helpful with stories about the filming downtown of the Elin Hildebrand movie . Very nice kitchen area with French bistro chairs, a nice gathering place for the guests. A warm inviting place to stay .

We loved the better quality breakfast items and fresh baked cookies each afternoon. The staff had great recs for dining and sightseeing. Bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet. and the toiletries smelt amazing!

Walking distance from the ferry. We stayed one night in the off season. King size bed was comfortable. Shower and tub were in the room. Breakfast was continental. The banana bread and coffee were good. They definitely had a variety of breakfast options. We ate at Brotherhood of Thieves and Surfside. Dinner at Brotherhood was fantastic and also the live music upstairs, all within walking distance. Gayle has the best home made cookies too!

I don't like the way Gail, the innkeeper, worded out to me by phone this week. I had a reservation for Friday (one night). She used words like "You always choose the least expensive room", "you could not have stayed in a deluxe room", "you cannot knock at others doors", "I will go later on at the inn to check if all the guests are in the right room". My thoughts while I heard those words "Who this lady thinks she is to talk to a guest like that?", "knocking at the doors?!!! What?!!!". I could not believe it what I heard. Really! I told her on the phone that she could never ever address her assumptions to a guest like she had done to me. So disrespectful. I had called them to ask what the room number was, exactly, since there was no room number info on my husband's reservation. They had said to me over the phone that my husband could use the room no.1,the one right next to the front door. Certainly, there was a misunderstanding on their end. There is no excuse to get a phone call from the inn and hear rude words like those ones I heard. So disrespectful. No more Periwinkle Inn on Nantucket.
