arrived at 11 - home keeper wasn’t anywhere to be found texted and never heard back from so I called around 3 to find out my room was ready. The inn is in a great location, EXTREMELY clean and I never had an issue with the shared bathroom even on a busy July 4th weekend. Would absolutely stay here again.

Property is unattended and there is no method of contacting the Innkeeper other than by mobile phone. There was no TV in our room abut if you wanted to watch TV, there is a screen in the communal area. Room was exceptionally clean and well presented and the bathroom facilities were first class. A self service breakfast was included in the room cost and was more than adequate with a good selection of breads/fruits/pastries/hot & cold drinks. The location is a 15 minute walk from downtown Nantucket or a 15 dollar Uber ride and there are several tourist brochures with local information available in the communal area. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the island.

We absolutely loved Room 4, with the private outdoor deck space, gorgeous blue and white decor, boucle’ side chairs for relaxing, and ample en-suite. Morning coffee and fresh continental breakfast were so easy to access, and the beautiful old world charm of this 200-year-old house make it so special! Thanks, David!

Our stay at Martin House was wonderful! The house is a mixture of antique charm and contemporary decor. Our room was very homey and comfortable. Our bed was devine with beautiful linens and the best pillows ever! We had a lovely breakfast every morning, hard boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea as well as juice. The absolute best part was we could walk everywhere. We loved our stay at Martin House!

The Inn was well maintained. I'm not really a bed and breakfast person, but Martin House Inn was located only a half mile from the ferry terminals, which was important to me. My room was quaint, clean and had a private bathroom. There was no elevator, and I had to carry my suitcase to the third floor. I would stay here again.
