The room was clean, keys were left in envelopes for guests. Didn’t meet the owner til the next day when I couldn’t find my key, he came with a spare and I was able to find my original key later in the day. Was disappointed that there was no television in the room, and felt it should have been mentioned in the amenities. Another guest I spoke to also found it odd. The walls are very thin, so I got to hear a lot! The owner didn’t seem very concerned when I mentioned both things. Only saw him twice! The woman who cleaned the rooms was very nice and friendly!

Eh it’s ok, wouldn’t stay here again. There are no televisions in the room, walls are paper thin and there is not anyone at a front desk. Slight odor of cigarettes in our room. I’ve been to Nantucket many times and while this stay was adequate it’s not a place I’ll stay at again.

Our host was wonderful. We were so relaxed in the common areas and the porch was the reason we picked it. We wanted a place to hangout and still be outside if the weather turned. Room was comfortable, clean, and the service attentive to our needs. We will return.

The internet was very reliable and the breakfast was continental. This location was very convenient to restaurants and shops. The walk to the ferry is about 20 minutes and the neighborhood was very safe at night. Dave was a great host. Thank you.

Mother daughter first time trip to Nantucket. Great location. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. We walked almost everywhere. Rented bikes to ride to the beach. Compliments light breakfast. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay again.

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—and was immediately welcomed with warm, freshly baked cookies courtesy of David, the innkeeper. That small gesture set the tone for the entire stay: thoughtful, personal. The inn itself is stunning, but what really makes it exceptional is the people. David is truly the heart and soul of The Martin Inn. He went above and beyond in every way, from anticipating needs before I had to ask, to offering incredible local recommendations, to creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and welcoming. The housekeeping team also deserves recognition—they were kind, attentive, and clearly hardworking, keeping everything spotless and comfortable throughout my stay. Every morning, breakfast was a highlight—The amenities were top-notch, but the backyard stole my heart: a cozy fire pit for evenings, an outdoor shower that felt wonderfully refreshing, and plenty of chairs to relax and take in the Nantucket charm. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. The Martin Inn is, without question, a true gem on Nantucket.
