Located at the award winning Ocean Lakes community in Myrtle Beach, with access to the private community beach, water park, arcade, mini golf, and more!

This family retreat offers 5 bedrooms including 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 2 twin beds. The large, open design is curated with a spacious kitchen, arcade game table, and modern art decor throughout the home. There are three outdoor entertainment areas with dining tables and fire pit. There's plenty of space for the family to enjoy together (or take break from each other:)

You can think less about packing and more about making memories, with linens, towels, soap, kitchen supplies, and beach accessories provided. Wifi and cable in every room. If there's something we don't have listed, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your unique needs!

Ocean Lakes requires all guests to register with the park before arrival. They charge a park access fee of $12/day per vehicle when registered at least 10 days before arrival, and $15/day if registered more than 10 days before arrival. We will assist you with this registration process!

Everything was perfect from the cleanliness to the comfort of the house. Amenities inside the home were great and the beds were extremely comfortable. The outside covered deck table fit 8 comfortable which is where we had all our meals. Parking for 4 cars available with an outside shower for convenience. Sean, the host was awesome with his communication. Immediately responded to all my questions. We will definitely book again. Than you Sean!

John’s retreat was an absolute dream vacation home. I noticed immediately how clean it was with outstanding living area. Great kitchen with all amenities. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were spacious with clean linen. Location was easy access and the kids rode their bikes on the street as well as the electronic board games was a PLUS ! The host, Sean was quick to response and very kind. We will definitely stay there next year 2026.

We cannot say enough about our stay or the property host!!! The property was clean, spacious and everything that was advertised was spot on. The home provided a great place for games, laughter, and memories. But, the real plus was how amazing and helpful the host was!! He was easy to communicate with, helpful with things to do, and genuinely concerned with our well being. A lightning storm came through and he contacted me concerned because we had no power. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were okay. Thanks for an amazing time and a great place for our family to come together; we are definitely coming back!! CO

Beautiful home & excellent stay!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at John's Retreat for 7 days. The house is beautiful and up-to-date with kitchen appliances and a fun game board that we all loved to play. We loved the outdoor deck. It had plenty of space for us to all sit around and catch up. Sean was always available to help answer any of my questions. We will definitely be back soon and rent this house again!

Immaculate Rental - Table Top Arcade a Huge Hit

We have a dog therefore the houses we usually rent tend to be on the used side, which is our choice for having a pet. This property was recently renovated and is spotless. It made us feel like we were renting at the Waldorf. From the lighted Palm trees to the outdoor gas table top fireplace, this house definitely made you feel welcome and on vacation. Also the owner was great to deal with. We decided to extend our stay but had to move from another property. The owner was very accommodating and made our move seamless with no impact to our activity schedule as we tried to maximize every ounce of warm weather forecasted. A bonus was the table top arcade/board game. As our kids are getting older we are trying to do more family game nights and this item was a huge hit. We spent most of the cool nights huddled around the coffee table with Clue, Scrabble, Battleship, Sorry, Chess, checkers ... it was pretty cool and it was icing on the cake.

Perfect Beach Getaway

This beach property was a dream! The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful, and the photos perfectly represented the beautiful, spotless space. Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, it was convenient for everything. The pet-friendly policy, hardwood floors, and stylish decor created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The master bed was super comfy, and the updated appliances were nice. Gated porches, double balconies, comfortable furniture, ample parking, and easy check-in were a plus. The owner clearly cares about guests and provides a helpful app with info on the stay, property, and local recommendations. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!
