Perfect stay at Myrtle

We had a wonderful stay and experience at Anderson. Check-in was so smooth and they assigned preferred room as requested despite being a busy day. Easy access to beach, hot tub and well maintained outdoor pools. Property is close to great restaurants viz. sea captains etc., Parking is across the street but they have valet service. I’ll stay again for my next trip.

I appreciated the beautiful ocean view and the smooth, efficient check-in process, which made for a pleasant arrival. However, I was disappointed to discover molded potato chips and visible dirt in the bedroom, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Additionally, parking was located across the street from the hotel, and while valet parking was available for added convenience, it came at an additional cost. This setup may not be ideal for guests seeking easily accessible parking without extra fees.

Arrived at the hotel,we were given a very dirty room,lots of stains in the carpet and chairs.immediately returned back to the front desk and checked out was promised full refund.It’s been over a week and have not received our full refund.we do have pictures and videos of the room.

Staff was very friendly, though I wasn't a fan of the concierge desk (although she was nice) asking about a 90 min session which I'm guessing is a time share pitch. The free putt putt course was fun, but is in need of some repair. The beach access is great as well, as in not a long walk across the soft sand. I guess the only negatives I would have is the small 4ft pool, small hottub, and the lazy river seems small. The parking is a little off putting. It is a parking garage, but it is tight with lots of blind spots (be careful walking out from elevator hallway). It's a block across from the hotel, and the 1st 2 floors are reserved for valet (and the floors go by halves as well). The negatives would not keep me from staying again though.

The refrigerator was not on and smelled terrible. We turned it on when we returned after dinner and the smell did go away by the next morning.
