Muong Hum accommodation from AU$24

We had a room overlooking the street and it was noisy, hearing the sound of people talking outside and vehicles going by despite the windows closed. My sister had a nice room overlooking the rose gardens below and the mountains. However she said she could always hear the person in the next room talking on the phone . It appears the rooms are not well insulated to block out noise. The breakfast , tho a good variety never seemed to be hot even first thing in the morning. Also the list of rules that was explained which I never had any other hotel tell me before eg making sure the sheets were not stained or else there would be a charge . And on check out we had to wait quite some time till the front desk staff radioed her staff to check the room before we were allowed to leave . Meantime our transportation driver was waiting for us . That would have been helpful if it was explained during check in that we should come down maybe 15minutes before checkout so as not to delay our departure .
