Great little cabin feel. The exterior is a little rough looking but also rustic. Beautiful wood throughout the inside with most of everything you’ll need while traveling. We definitely were needing a coat closet or hangers somewhere to hang our wedding guest atire and coats, only thing that was missing! Otherwise, a great stay.

The host was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond—when we realized we needed an extra night that wasn’t originally open, they made it possible for us to extend our stay. It was a great cabin, but the bed situation was a struggle for sure. Two of us who normally sleep on a king and went to a double bed was rough.. but it was close to where we needed to be. The traffic noise was more than we anticipated during the day but it got quiet at night.. we would stay again if there was a bigger bed..

Returning Guests - Adventurous Stay

Historic property in the heart of Mountain City. We were returning guests. Resident ground hog was active some nights under the house doing his thing. Work is being performed to rid property of this non-paying tenant. On Saturday, flying ants or termites (unsure which) invaded the main bath, probably due to warmer weather. Owner stated that pest control company would be scheduled for the following week. We found a vacuum cleaner and Hoovered those buggers up.
