No bugs please!!

The night time check-in was fine. The next morning in our waste basket by the tv there were cockroaches inside a small empty potato chip bag - gross !! (They did offer to upgrade from my 3rd floor and they acted like they already knew about the bugs *sus*) But, I no longer wanted to stay there, I just felt like "if one room has them, they all do" and I cancelled the hotel and got a refund. Such a bummer, took a little over an hour to do, disappointed because we had to pack up everything once more and find somewhere else...and I had to check EVERY BAG to be SURE none of those suckers came with us! Geez. I will not be back.

The room smelled like smoke.

For a non-smoking hotel it smelled like smoke. It took three trips back to the front counter to get a working room key. Lots of dogs were staying with their owners at the property.

Have stayed here before and always pleased with the room. Only complaint i had this time was with housekeeping. Had to go to front desk twice to get towels and bedding was never changed my whole stay. Breakfast was great, front desk personnel were great, just the housekeeping hiccup. Would definitely recommend.
